I just found out I’m pregnant with my boyfriend of two and a half years. We told my dad today and it went horribly. He told my boyfriend he was done with him because he isn’t planning on getting married again but he’s going to stay with me forever and be in our kids life. I haven’t stopped crying I’m in such a bad place. This is SUPPOSED to be the happiest time of my life and so far it’s been a horrible pregnancy and mostly been full of crying.
Family support minimal...any advice?

Your dad will come round but that’s a horrible reaction!
You need to remember that regardless, this baby will be loved and cherished and that’s all baby will need. Also a good lesson for you on how not to parent! Sending hugs x

We are very close and this is what’s hurting the most right now. My mom they would be happier if he would make a commitment to take care of me. I know he wants to be with forever and I wish he would marry me but he said he will never get married again
