Ok so had my appointment today and tbh she did not really tell me anything that I did not already know.
The only thing she said was that we were right to start trying straight away after having the implant out.

She basically put me down in a way and said 'How old are you?' Even though she had my folder right in front of her!
When i said 24 she said to be 'You are very young, is there really any need to rush to have a baby?'
I was to be honest taken aback and did not really know what to say without being rude so just said... 'Well my Husband and I have wanted children for years so feel there is no need to wait any longer'
She said about the fact that my leutal phase only lasted 6 days last cycle that even though it was shorter than what is normal not to worry at this stage, as I only had the implant out just under a month ago and would only be considered to have a problem until we have been trying by means of having CONSTANT SEX throughout the month for a whole year.
She also said to throw out the OPK and not plan anything just have lots of SEX!!
Although good advice I am not going to throw out my OPK!! I have just receiced my new lot of 50 so should keep me going for a while!!

Aww gosh she sounds like he bloody nurses at the family planning clinics near me. Old horrible women! Doesn't matter how old you are, or how long uve been with ur partner/husband. If u both feel ur ready then your ready. Hmmm, hope you get ur BFP soon huni. If your in any doubt, probs best to go see ur GP or another dr/nurse at ur doctors. Nosey old nurse should keep her nose out lol! :) xxx

oh bless you, what a bat hey. You stick to your guns. Just wanted to say good luck to you and ignore the negative and listen to the positive (if there was any) xxx

What a stupid thing to say... 24 AND married and "you are very young?" - it is so unprofessional for them to express their personal opinion on people, i hate it.

You don't need to worry about your cycle Rachel - it is all down to your long term contraceptive but you need to accept that until it is more regular that there is no need getting as stressed as you do about ttc.

It is normal for it to take several months before you even have a chance of getting pregnant and that doesn't mean you shouldn't try, but you should try to be a bit more rational for your sanity's sake :)

Again, completely agree with Louise and maybe baby on this! People should think before they speak and keep their personal opinions to themselves. She's there to give advice and support not question your age in relation to ttc xx

Yeah it did take me by suprise to be honest as like you ave all said I did not go in there for a lecture only for advise and to be honest I walked out of there wishing I had not bothered!

What an old bag! And how rude! I think like Louise said, there prob is going to be a period of time before your body gets back to norm, so I would no way start stressing yet. Just relax and enjoy the BD-ing, however frequently you choose to do it :) x
