Failed MAP...

As above really...anyone else pregnant after the morning after pill failed?

Just wondering how common this is? I took it about 26 hours after we DTD and it wasn't effective.

We are over the moon, even if we are scared out of our tiny minds!

Hiya yeah we are either because of failed morning after pill or because of being on antibiotics without extra protection! Such a shock isn't it! We just wanna knowhow far gone so we can pin point it x

Paige was a MAP baby I took it within about 16 hours yet shes still here and shes the best thing that could have happened to me and FOB so I think she was meant to be.

I think MAP babies are just supposed to be born as they must be uber sticky little beans

I am a little worried about ectopic pregnancy because of the MAP. My hormone levels seem quite high so it's worrying me! Probably being daft!

Your little Paige is perfect, makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one

I was a bit concerned tbh, I got my bfp 2 days after my missed period and it was so strong. I asked the doctor and midwife if this would have any effect on the results or the baby (I told them straight away as I was so concerned) but noone seemed to share this concern and all was fine.

I think there were other people on here too....although Im doubting myself now lol. But I swear theres at least one other person! We cant be the only ones! The midwife said its actually quite common for the MAP to fail.

My friend had her son after taking the morning after pill and he was absolutely fine, no problems with pregnancy at all.

i got pregnant after taking the morning after pill pretty much soon after i had sex! completely blew my trust in that pill, first and last time ever.

I fell pregnant while on the pill and after taking the morning after pill which i took due to me being sick for a couple of days so thought the pill might not work.

My doc said that there is a chance of a ectopic regnancy if you get pregnant on the MAP but told me to just watch out for pain on one side as this is a sign. I am now 17 weeks and had a very active baby on my scan (which was late due to hospital error only had it 2 weeks ago)
