Quite simple really - do any of you lovely ladies have one? How does it secure? What I mean is, what would stop a curious baby pulling it away from the fire?
We used to have one (before we changed our fire to a hole in the wall one!!)
They come with screws with hoops on the end that you have to fix into the wall. Then there's 2 clips on the fire guard that you clip into the screws so you can't pull it over
However we didn't end up doing that, because we managed to use a couple of tie wraps to fix it to our old fire to save drilling into the wall
Hope that helps xx
I was hoping there was a way to secure it without having to fix it to the wall. Although, at least that way curious hands can't give me a heart attack. Thanks pet. x
Pro's - you can screw it into the wall, because of all the segments its pretty flexable, it has a gate so you can easily tend to the fire, and E has given it a pretty good bashing and hasnt broken it yet.
Con's - very big, very very ugly.
