Im 41 weeks tomorrow and really not sleeping at all..... I am constantly getting up for the toilet or having to turn and probably manage around 30 mins at a time I'm shattered. Then 7am the house wakes up and I'm permanently awake after that as I just can't settle...... I'm terrified of going into labour and being exhasted and having a rough time and not having the birth I want because I won't be able to manage it..... tips and comments anyone xxx

I'm sorry I can't give you any tips just thought I'd say poor you :( I've not slept in ages either so know how you feel and it's pants, hope something gives you a bit of relief soon! Xo

I'm 34 weeks and having trouble sleeping myself between being uncomfy and toilet trips. Can't really offer much advice. I finish work this week and will be sending my son to the childminders a couple of drinks a week still so am hoping to catch up with some rest on those days.

Oh it is awful, especially when you're over, I had it with my first. There isn't really a whole lot you can do I'm afraid to say, just try to rest up as much as you can. I'm assuming you don't have any other children so hopefully you can laze about it the day so at least you're not wearing yourself out there.

You'll find the energy for labour, I'm sure you'll be excited to be about to meet your lo and the adrenaline will kick in too. I think you only have a problem with being exhausted after a very long time of strong contractions or a long time pushing. I was pushing for over an hour with my first, ended up needing help, and I was struggling to keep pushing by the end but I was determined to get her out and I did it! x

Sorry to hear you are struggling, being overdue is so annoying! I always found a bath relaxing.
It is amazing what your body can do even if you are exhausted, I was awake for a good 24 hours until my wee one arrived. Just try and rest as much as poss even if you can't sleep.
Good luck. X
