Ive just applied for an access to nursing and midwifery course! the college has a nursery and its a year course which would enable me to apply for uni next september... eeeek!!

awesome, im half way thru a part time access course that leads on to nursing lol. i will be applying to uni in 2013 to do nursing too

Ooh really? Do you think you will manage with LO? Is LO going in the college nursery!? I really hope I get accepted it would be perfect! I want to do midwifery and if all goes well ill also be applying in 2013

my mum is having her, atm i do 1 day a week to fit it in around baby and work etc, college here dosent have a nursery that i know of lol. midwifery here is practically impossible to get into, not sure what its like in other parts of england but round my end of wales theyre pretty much telling ppl not to bother applying for that but i wanted to do adult nursing maybe specialise in paediatrics eventually.
so far ive managed to get distinctions in all my anatomy assignments despite taking the course while preg and working 35 hrs a week most of the way thru it so im sure you will do fine.

That sounds amazing! Well done you!! Well I was speaking to the course tutor and she was really encouraging me to go for midwifery over nursing so just gonna see what happens, feeling positive though!

i do think its this part of north wales thats packed for midwifery, theres only 1 girl on my course that wants to do it.
i love science so its not too hard yet lol, everyone thinks im smart but i adore all the geeky stuff
i dont think i could hack looking after a bunch of hormonal pregnant women or listen to them screaming that much lol
