Exam results

Hi Ladies,

Ive just received a letter from my son's school saying that he can pick his exam up on the 23/8, he's 14 in a few days and i know that hes been taking (what i thought was) mock exams, but the letter says GCSE Results. Can anyone shed any light on this. I'm confused.

The school system has changed a lot so I am not entirely sure, but your son seems to be too young to be taking the actual GCSE's but I know results are in August, this could just be his mocks. Although my cousins have told me that they now take some GCSE's in year 10 to spread them out, but maybe that's just them! Best bet is to call the school and check hope your son passes!

he will have results for his mocks so as they know where to place him in the last 2 years at school hun xx they dont mean anything but technically whatever he gets his is supposed to achieve or exceed in his proper gcses's
