ladies today i have received a letter from the job center, saying that have stop my JSA :x why i have no idea all i have is £20 in my bank

they know i'm pregnant, but said i can not go on income support till 11 weeks till the baby is due :x

i have just moved out of my mums house and living in a temporary place till they find me a better place...

and also got a letter a bout council tax, and another letter saying they need more information about housing benefit....

it's just two much :x :x :x

but why have they stop my JSA.... any ideas??

it's all going down hill from here

I suppose they are just *******s.

Sorry, I hate them, passionately. This is probably an "error" somewhere, it happens all too often and causes no end of stress and worry for those who rely on the money, they really are so stupid!

Give them a call hun, stand your ground and find out whats going on. Take names and make notes of who you spoke to in what departments etc.

Good luck

I cant understand why they would randomly stop it?, did you miss a sign on day? or anything?
i signed up for my income support on 9th Jan
still no money but i been borrowing the £91 from my mummy each fornight which i have to pay back with the backdated money hmm some peeps cant do that though
u'll have 2 do one on them crisis loans and jesus they are a kerfuffle

Could it be linked to your pregnancy?

JSA receivers are supposed to be actively seeking and vailable for work. being pregnant means you can STILL do that (it would be discrimination otherwise) but is there some little known cluase that means you have to work somewhere so long before taking leave (like maternity) meaning this halt could have kicked in now?

Sorry I'm only speculating that it might have something to do with the maternity benefits you'll be receiving soon instead.

Hope you get it sorted.

i just got back from the job center :x i hate going in there... espseacilly when your pregnant  ....

they said it might have to do with me moving.. so i have to make another claim AGAIN...

will find out on monday :wall:

What I find annoying is they take so long to process claims :(

it doesn't really take that long... about one week.. or two so i've been blessed like that

but when they backdate you it's nice to see some extra money...

becks when did you actually go on to income support??

I was supposed to do it on 11dec when i was 29 weeks like but i didnt want to go without money over the xmas period so i didnt cancel jsa untill 8th jan and claim income support on 9th jan so i was 33weeks then lol

Well 'hubby' is short for husband hun.. just a simple question no need to roll ur eyes :)
The ticker is a wedding ticker thats why it puts off that idea of being married. There was no offence in that question, its not a big deal. Was just curious.

I thought you were referring to 'hubby' as you were married too.....you can surely see why people think you are married if you call him that....don't get offended....its easy for folk to get confused if you call your OH hubby in posts?!
