So how long do you ladies have it (if you do) before you ovulate? I had it yesterday and then a ton today! Like more than ever that I remember. My test is almost at peak (but not yet).

I am trying not to be bummed we haven't BD's since Sunday morning as hubby isnt feeling well but he knows its getting closer and is hoping we can try tonight/tomorrow morning. I guess I hope maybe theres still time as I am so close to that peak I estimate I will get it soon (on cycle day 15 now...love these OPK's because I would have thought i did already sometimes!).

I sometimes have it for 7 days before ovulation, sometimes only 3 or 4 days, but as soon as ovulation is over, it gets a bit whitish and then turns creamy.

Thank you! I think (now I'm not positive until I see a peak test of course)...I will ovulate in a couple days at the least...and I had it for 2 days. I hope we can BD so i at least have some hope! This is my first time in a long time getting close to peak with good, legit strips (and actually knowing how to use them the right way lol)

Thank you! I had a ton of that CM today and just got my peak opk! Im also using Premom app but its a legit positive opk! I am worried we wont make it if we cant BD until tonight but i cant do anything until then. I am finding my SMU is the best with these and then early evening.

Sorry for a lot of typing i just feel like I finally am getting back to normal (I dont have PCOS either they did all the tests)...and actually am using these strips the right way lol

Hmmmm, it's hard to say as you dont know how soon after the surge you ovulate. Just try and DTD as soon as you can and hope for the best. If it doesnt work this month atleast you got a positive out of it, how to use the OPK's and your cycles back on track

I think generally most ladies ovulate around 12-24hrs after that surge and some maybe even longer after. Remember the egg is good for a time too so I think you’ll be fine!

Normally 3-4 days. Though I’ve had it for 3 weeks twice since giving birth haha. My poor body must be struggling to ovulate. Anyway it just means your body is trying to release the egg, once you’ve ovulated it’ll go creamy x

Thank you! Well I ovulated for the first time, confirmed with OPKs and gosh my app predictor was like 3 days off! It wasnt the whole day 14 thing for me and it was cool to know and see.

Hubby and I BD's Friday night (which was almost 12 hours after that OPK) then last night too.

It still feel nice to actually ovulate again. And now I know better for future cycles although let's be real, we all want our recent cycle or upcoming to be the one! lol

I think it’s hard to be precise. As far as I was concerned I ovulated on a Friday (had all the signs and a sharp pain) but according to my dating scan I conceived on the Tuesday of the same week so must have ovulated even earlier.

Bare in mind my hubby works away mon-fri too which would make a Tuesday conception even more unlikely!

The point I’m trying to make is unfortunately it’s not a specific thing and as long as you are getting busy around the right time, you’re in with a bloody good shot. Good Luck this cycle lovely!

Thank you! Yes I mean my tests are back to negative so all in all I dont know exactly...but I definitely have a better idea than before. I just try to get BD in as much as I can anyhow. We did it last Sunday, Friday Saturday so hopefully I caught something! Before I wasnt even getting anything in near the right time..at all and then wasnt even ovulating at all per the dr. Thanks for the advice and insight!
