Entering cycle 15 :(

Well, were now entering cycle 15, and we have our 1st joint doctors appointment tomorrow morning, hope the doctor doesnt laugh us out or i WILL hit them! Lol.

Every programme im watching has some pregnant woman in it, or a couple trying IVF

Whats making me feel all tonight is the sheer pain im expecting to kick in when i have my "big bleed" day. Last month i couldnt move, my back was killing me and my stomach was in knots and in was bleedibg so much .

This is a pointless post really....but hey!

i really hope it all goes well with the doc tomorrow for you!
as for the pain i can symathise.....i'm going through it now!!! sometimes it so bad i vomit (sorry tmi )

Just be chilled yet assertive about where you think you are upto and hopefully they will take you seriously.

I was watching an Embarrassing Illnesses that i recorded and it had periods in that and it made me think of you (lol)

Apparently 80ml is the maximum and any more than that might indicate Endometriosis or PCOS. I have no idea how you'd measure it, maybe one of those softcup things and a measuring jug

Let us know how you get on asap! I hate waiting for updates lol

Back from docs.

As were both "quite" young <---- he's 28 and im 26 next week! He doesnt want to refer us to a fertility specialist untill we have been off pill for 2 years, which is fine by us.

He has booked my OH in for a semen analysis = YAY and bloods, and urine sample, and checked his bits and bobs too lol.

We go away for a week tomorrow, so were gonna have them done when we are back and have detoxed from our booze cruise! Ha ha.

As my periods have only begun to be regular since November, he thinks my body has only just really kicked back in so count actual TTC months from then, which is what i assumed he'd say.

As for my painful periods, if it really bogs me down, he can prescribe me something but it wouldnt be helpfull with TTC. But suggested that when my bleed arrived, i get onto voltorol for the pain in my back and see how it goes.

He seemed ok, asked plenty of questions about sexual health and what we know about TTC, still miss my doctor tho.

Yay, great news Chaz

He seems to be playing delaying tactics though suggesting that you are still young and chopped a huge chunk off how long you have been ttc for, which is a pre requirement for fertility treatment.

You *must* have been at it for 2 years even if something is wrong and he just arbitrarily took 10 months off you!

Hopefully nothing will be wrong with hubby and you won't need fertility treatment anyway

Oooo Louise, if we get to 2 years (fingers crossed we dont) im counting from Jan last year, not from Nov. They have no proof my cycles regulating in Nov are to do with being off the pill for that long. But i feel much better to know he's checking my OH. OH wasnt best pleased when doc said "jump up on bed and ill examine you" ha ha poor sod xxx

They never checked my hubby's bit which i always thought was a bit odd considering, so i had to do a DIY job (nothing kinky!)

We have our appointment with our fertility specialist April 12th and I am really looking forward to get the ball roling!
