Endometriosis??? Help please...

Hello

Never posted on here before but thought you might be able to help me out...sorry if this is tmi, be warned!

Started ttc number 1 start of October and the first af after that my lovely symptoms started, I'll give a list....

Spotting and severe pain around ov
Spotting exactly 2 days before af
Af every 27 days without fail
Pain throughout month when going to toilet both ends, hurts more when weeing comes to an end but not stinging, so not infection (sorry tmi!)
When on af INCREDIBLY painful bowels for first 2/3 days. I darent eat as within minutes my tummy area (but not my stomach) hurts. Then when I need the loo the pain is out of this world. I'm not blocked up, it just hurts. I throw up because of the pain.
I have very very heavy periods even with tranexamic acid and huge amounts of tissue lumps, even doctors say it's strange how much I get.

I haven't been on the pill in 5 years... doctor is being useless...I've been told by some that this sounds like Endometriosis???

What do you all think? Any advice on how to get referred to specialist as I don't think I can go through another af like this, I've never felt pain like it.

sorry i cant be any help to you about what this could be but id keep on at the doc to get a referral or something to get checked out, im sending lots of ur way take care.

Hi Sal

I have endometriosis, but unfortunately peoples symptoms differ wildly so I have no idea whether what you suffer could be endometriosis related or not.

however, if you cannot get your doctor to refer you then you need to ask to see someone else who will refer you to someone. and keep going till you do get referred. You should not be suffering like this without it being investigated.

Hi Sal, I do not know much about Endometriosis myself, however Notty on here does have it and from what you have said it does sound very similar to her symptoms. Perhaps if you PM her she can talk to you. She hasnt been on here for a while but Im sure she will reply if she knows she has a message.

My doctor is doing some blood tests tomorrow to see if he can find out anything. He now thinks the lack of pregnancy over the last 10 cycles and the problems I'm having are probably linked. I've been bleeding a lot this month too so it really needs sorting. I'll keep you all updated.

Sorry to hear you're having problems Sal. I don't know much about endometriosis either but certainly doesn't sound normal what you're going through each month. Hope your doc comes up with some answers soon or at least refers you on to someone who can help.
