my hormones have been all over the place today. i had a really giddy day at work, the day seemed to fly by and i had energy and a good laugh, and was in a really good mood. but when i got home my boyfriend told me on his way home from work (very late last night) he'd found a dead cat in the road, with blood around its mouth- and it was ginger like one of our cats. i suddenly got very upset, tears were dripping off my cheeks!
how can anyone drive over someone's pet, and just leave it there? evil evil people!

Aww Trixipaws  big hugs

I feel for you and totally agree. I love my two cats to bits and couldn't bear it if they got hurt. :(

It is very sad. Hopefully the owners will find it and give it a good burial.

Awww hun hope your ok, ive got a dog and we love our pets so much so bad someone did that and left it, im sure someone has taken care of it, try not to get to upset! x :)

I run over a cat last year but i wrapped it up in a blanket and took it to the vets

I felt like a monster and cried for a week, the cat didnt suffer much but i also felt so bad for the owner too waiting night after night for their kitty to come home

The cat was spooked by a dog on the street and just shot out into the road, i tried to swerve but it just went right under my car. I stil think about 6 months later

        hey i'm sorry that must be really awful for you; dont feel bad tho coz it was an accident and u were good to take it to the vets

its awful that people can do something like that.

i also find it rediculous that by law you dont have to stop for a cat. but do for a dog (although didnt stop the person who hit my parents dog benji)

Everyone has told me it wasnt my fault and was unavoidable etc but i still beat myself up about it. I think what if i'd left the house 1 minute later or gone a different route. i didnt drive down the road for ages but my docs is on the same road so have no choice now...
