Hi I was just after some advice I'm 30 weeks pregnant and at my 31 week checkup with the midwife I was going to ask about an elective c section.
on what grounds can you have one?
Personally I'm terrified about giving birth naturally and it's causing me a lot of stress. I used to suffer with an eating disorder before getting pregnant and the thoughts are coming back as I feel I've got no control. I feel that having a planned c section would give me control back in the sense of I know when and how it's going to happen. Also my partner is always at work and I wouldn't be able to get intouch if I was in labour so I would have to do it on my own where as if I had a cc section booked I could have him make sure to take the day off so I'd have support. Do you think this is enough or will they tell me no and to get over it I'm super anxious now. Any advice appreciated thank you.
I'm in the north east England too if that helps
