I got myself a brand new maxi cosi axiss on eBay for 70 quid. I was dubious, but it arrived and it's in perfect condition. I'm so so pleased!

Wow well done. I did wonder when you had to upgrade the seat in the car, so this has answered it.

I just waited until she was too big for her baby seat.

Her head was sticking out the top and feet out the bottom and she was constantly trying to look round to front. I'd have liked to have kept her rear facing, but I knew she just keeps trying to lift her head and was straining to look round so chose a forward facing seat.
