Eczema!!!

My 18 week old has recently flared up with eczema, he has always had dry skin. When we had this hot weather a month ago it flared up then all red & sore in his creases. This week it has come back with avengence!!! His whole body red raw including creases & very hot to touch, it looked horrible went to docs prescribed antibiotic cream for his creases, centraben for body & oilatum for bath time. Today it looks so much better I have been using E45 for the past 2 months which has been working fine until now. Anyone else's babies suffer from eczema? If so what works

I found the best thing is Himalayan salt in the bath. It's worked wonders for my daughter. Some people will recommend coconut oil but that didn't help us at all

Aveeno is the only thing that worked for my lb. Cleared his up in a matter of days x

We're a family of eczema here - the doc prescribed cetraben for my daughter and it didn't help much at all!
The only thing that worked for us was a lotion I made myself containing my own breastmilk, from a recipe I found online. I was dubious about how well it would work and was quite shocked: cleared up her eczema in 2 days!
I might make a separate thread on the forum to share the recipe in case it's useful to anybody...

Ooh would also mention that some people now really advocate taking pre- and probiotics to help against eczema. Will be trying that one on myself...
