Hi all,

I miscarried at 12 weeks in June and have now just had an ectopic pregnancy. Unfortunately my tube ruptured and had to be removed.

They said my other tube looks healthy except a small cyst which is not uncommon.

We are going to wait 4-6 months to try again but does anyone have experience of conceiving after having a tube removed? Any alternative tips on how to stop ectopic happening again? We're considering IVF as I've heard there is a much less chance of ectopic but not sure if we're being OTT. Any experience would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry to hear your awful story. Its tough business ttc! I didn't lose a tube with ectopic last year, but had methotrexate. I had another mc after (but pg was in the womb), and now nearly 26 weeks with normal pg.

If they've checked the other tube and its fine, IVF sounds a bit overkill. One of my besties had a tube removed with ectopic and conceived fine afterwards.

Good luck!
