Early scan. What to expect?

Hi Girls

I'm having a early scan tomorrow after some spotting last week.

I will be 7+2 but have no idea what to expect. Will I see or hear a heartbeat?

What will bean look like?

Would really appreciate your help as I'm quite anxious about it.

Hi hun. You'll love it. They should be able to pick up a heartbeat and you can see a wee flash which is the heart going. Baby will look like a baked bean but you'll just fall in love. Enjoy and let us know how you get on xxx

Here's my 6 week and 8 week scans, yours will probably be something in the middle! xx

Edit: the 8 week one is a bit grainy, but the top bean-shaped thing is bubs and the bit below it is yolk sac xx

Aw thanks girls!

I presume they will try an abdominal first. I've had a vaginal one before when they thougt I had pcos so I'm not too worried

I'm actually excited now reading these replies

This was my early scan at 6+4 they picked up the heartbeat. Although it just looks like a tiny bean
