Hi all

So I kinda "feel" pregnant but all the tests have been negative so far. How do I know when to redo tests?
I had 3 Mirena's over a 7 year period. Had it removed the 10th of April 2019. So I haven't had ovulation or my period for 7 years.

We have been trying since beginning of May. I have an app that helps me to keep track of everything. Where my confusion comes in is I only had my first ovulation on the 8th and 9th of May (we had intercourse just before then) on the 6th of May. As well as every week since.
I started with spotting the 8th and only finishes yesterday, the 17th of May.
How do I know when to retake the test? Or if it's implantation bleeding?

First time we are trying to fall pregnant.

These are my symptoms: nausea without vomiting but I do gag, right ovary cramps, lower back pain on my left side, breast tenderness, bloating, lady parts being swollen, fatigue (permanently), headaches, swollen hands and feet, hot flushes.

Just another things, I am in South Africa and we are changing seasons. Currently in Autumn. We have quite warm windy autumn now.

According to google I am pregnant. Lol but I would like to hear anyone else's experience.

You wont know you're pregnant until you get a positive test. I'd say its risky relying on the app to track your ovulation is this is only an estimation and is based on average cycles. For example my app estimated ovulation 3 days ago but I only had my positive opk today on cycle day 20. Especially since you have been on long term contraception your hormones may be a bit haywire. Hope it's good news for you though :)

Thanks @Natalie8964. Not due to the app that I know I was ovulating. Actually checked a few times ( due to my system and hormones being off) I use the app more to keep a record of all my symptoms etc. On that day.

Apologies if I explained it wrong

How do you track ovulation if not with the app? If you only had it removed last month it could be your body trying to adjust. That can cause all those symptoms as well.

General "out of the norm" symptoms. Such as discharges etc. If you haven't had it ot for a long time you can immediately recognise it.

I personally think it’s your body and hormones going a bit crazy coming off of contraception. If you haven’t had a period in 7 years then you are going to experience all these kind of symptoms unfortunately.
You are showing negative results so the chances are quite slim that you are pregnant.
I would also suggest you used opks to know when you ovulate. An app just estimates based on an average cycle. X
