Ear infection?

I have no idea whether Paige has an ear infection! This is the third day she's been completely out of sorts. I've given her calpol and calprofen and it doesn't seem to be helping as she keeps crying in pain just randomly and seemingly for no reason. She's uber clingy and every now and then (more so today) she keeps tapping the side of her ear when she's upset. Does this mean she could have an ear infection?

She doesn't have a fever, she feels warm to the touch but not a fever but she's really not being herself the past few days at all

I would take her to the doc to be sure

If she's pulling or running her ear she could possibly have one yes, I would make her an app with your dr and get her checked out as if they are left too long they can perforate the ear drum xx

i would take her to the doctor as she sound like she is in pain but when my lo did something similar, pulling her ears etc 2 different doctors checked her ears but found nothing. they said that babies can't localise pain so would either pull their ears, scratch their eyes etc.

we never found out what was wrong with her, thank god for calpol!
