Dry, cracked nipples...At 12 weeks pregnant?

Hi there, I was just wondering if any one else has had dry or cracked nipples this early in pregnancy?

I am almost 12 weeks and didn't expect this until I was breast feeding!

They aren't sore, they just look dry and are a bit cracked. they have been left alone so not sure how this has happened!

Should I put cream on or leave them since they aren't hurting?

I have really sensitive nipples anyway, but the last week or so they've been really dry and painful. My boobs are filling out too so I've just assumed it's normal due to the all the changes.
I've just been moisturising which seems to help loads. I got that Palmer's Cocoa Butter, some of the girls recommended it in another thread somewhere. It smells yummy too

i wouldn't worry about it too much hun, your nips can change in many ways during pregnancy...

i would recommend kamillosan cream - its amazing stuff

I think it was just a shock to have it so early! I'll pop into town tomorrow and grab something for it then!
