So I couldn't wait any longer and ordered an Angel doppler, which arrived today, YAY.

I've just plastered my stomach in pre-seed (only gel like stuff I had and figured I don't need it anymore!) and I heard a heart beat but I really have no idea if it was mine or baby Kedi.

I counted the beats and it was 88 in one minute. I held my breath for a time too to see if the beats got slower and I don't think they did. Do you think it was baby?

where abouts were you listening?

I would say thats yours.

Our heartbeats should be any where between 60-90 beats per minute at rest
Babies should be 110 and over really, keep trying though hun, took me AGES to find heartbeat at your stage and with some poeple they just dont find it till nearer 12 weeks

you can use baby oil with it I did still got mine cant wait to use it again. I have no idea when the earliest I can use it tho x

I was moving it around the top of my lady garden. I eventually heard the beats when I was on the right, I was pushing down real hard. (I'm not the thinnest of people so figured I had to push hard!)

I'll keep trying, I'm sure I'll hear it eventually, this was the first time of trying and I didn't know what I was doing really and it is still early, I'm only 9+2 today.

we have quite a strong pulse down there......so it may have been that you found...

dont feel too disheartened......most people dont find it til about 12 weeks...xx

I'm ok about it, I kind of didn't expect to hear it to be honest, then when I heard something I couldn't work out if it was mine or baby's. I've got another scan a week on Saturday so hopefully a professional will be able to find it instead lol

i just listened to boo boo before and heartbeat is right up by my bellybutton now....just shows how they grow

Awwwwww I can't wait to get to that point. At least now if you feel a little unsure about things you can have a little listen and make sure things are ok. It must make you feel all warm instead too

yeah its lovely.....especially after a crap day.....you can hear them wriggling about later on too and kicking and they get all excited when you talk to them xx

yeah......when i say 'hello boo boo' the heartbeat gets faster and louder...as if it's pushing itself against the surface...its dead cute.....then the little bugger takes off and you cant find it again. ha ha

its getting a bit too big to hide from mammy now though but once i have heard it for a few seconds i leave it in peace x

haahaa you're funny, I'll be trying the chocolate one without a doubt! I just LOVE chocolate, especially when I can claim its all for a science experiment!

Not long till your wedding now, everything sorted for you? Are you excited?

yeah all sorted and yeah very excited....just want the day to be here now. cant wait for OH to see me in my dress

then to get xmas out the way and then concentrate on getting everything ready for boo boo...one thing at a time or my head will explode. xx

Yeah one thing at a time, you've got so much going on, it must be hard to plan for everything at once lol. You will look amazing in your dress your OH will feel like the luckiest man alive on that day I'm sure. Hope we get to see some pictures too!!

I've hired one, I'm so impatient lol. I'm not sure how far I am, min is 6 weeks max is 8, but I couldn't even wait another 2 weeks to hire it lol I'm gonna try it this weekend lol Bit keen haha
