after hearing my babys heartbeat for the 1st time today it was amazing.
my hubby wasnt there. i was thinking of getting a doppler, what do you all think, and best make/brand to get.

I have angelsounds, I heard my babys heartbeat the other day x Its about £20 and good x They take some practice and a lot of patient x

i have an angelsounds and pretty happy with it, have been able to use it from 10 weeks, not used it in AGES though as once you start to feel baby move around you tend not to need to use it. xx

trying to get my hubby involved with this baby. hes dosnt like pregnant women with a bump freeks him out.
so i thought if he gets to hear the babys heart beat, might be diffrent?!?! what ur thoughts?

Yeah that would be nice for him to hear it I got my boyfriend to hear this new ones the other night if anything reassured him as I had been moaning saying I was worried about it x

The angel sounds one seems to be the best. Look at online reviews and some of them are awful.

My oh loves listening in on Albert, he sits there chuckling to himself when Albert goes mad. It's also incredibly reassuring on those quiet days xxxxxxxx

I have an angelsounds doppler aswell. I love hearing my LO's heartbeat :)

You can't hear the babies heartbeat through a Doppler until around 15 weeks and even then it's hard to differentiate between your own and the babies. I'm sure that it's easier the further along you get but for early pregnancies it's not much use.

I did this time but it was faint so hard to hear. It does say on the angelsounds box wait till 14-16 weeks but this is my second pregnancy so I know what I'm looking for x

Actually in my last pregnancy I heard my baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks with a Doppler! It was such an amazing experience! In fact DH discovered a forgotten recording of the heartbeat recently and it brought back such amazing memories :) baby's heartbeat I found was easy to distinguish from my own as baby's is much faster and, in fact, sounded like a train!

Ignore any mistakes-my iPhone is addicted to autocorrect!

I first heard it at 10 weeks after a lot of hassle. Trouble is it's pot luck and if you can't hear it it sends you off into a major panic. I don't always go by the heartbeat, as long as I can hear him moving about thats good enough for me xxxxx

angel sounds is brilliant, I heard mine from 9 weeks, it gets easier and easier to find the heartbeat as the weeks go by so you should have no problem at 16 weeks xxxxx
