Doppler works!

My angel sounds doppler arrived today and I managed to find the little heart beat so quickly! Such a reassurance as feeling 100% normal all the way through! Happy mummy x

Great for a wee listen for a bit of reassurance, kept me same before I could feel the baby moving, and even when I worry I always have a wee listen for a minute xxx

i have got one too. Tried it last week & could here the wooshing of the fluid but only my heartbeat (too slow for baby).

Mind you im overweight originally (not loads) so maybe that is why its more difficult, however im not worried about finding baby at the moment as I know everything is ok.

Will try again next week x

Are you using a good gel ferret? I found that makes a difference. Also I had to press a bit more than I expected x

Thats greta new s !! I couldnt have a doppler dont think i cud ever get lo hb and i wud panic when mw or dr does it i get confused between my hb and the babies lolx

Well I'm hoping it's the babies heartbeat! I tried it on both sides and can only pick up it on one side, I put it against my own heart and sounds different....you have me worried now! It's nearly always in the same area but always on left..... x

no dont worry I am sure u got it ! just dont think i could find it so rather not use it x

Now Im thinking, my heart is obviously on the left, how do I know it isn't my own heart I'm listening to! I feel stupid now! X

i know at 15 weeks mw struggled but at 18 weeks and defo 19 was alot more easy

9 days and counting, hope the midwife finds it, going to have to try again to see if I can be sure it's the baby!

When u find the heartbeat, feel ur own pulse at the same time and see if they match. If they don't, u found the LO x

LO's rate will be soo much faster then your own and sounds like a train or galloping horse xxx
