Doppler question

So excited my dopplers came thing the poor postie was scared lol

I'm sure I could hear placenta, movements of fluid etc but no heartbeat, oh says I'm too early but I'm sure I saw a thread here before where ppl had the dopplers earlier, any advice or anything?

I still find it tricky cos my baby moves away from the Doppler and hides behind the placenta, mine is at the front lol!

I've heard the hb loads but yesterday I couldn't....the little cherub was hiding lol (found it this morning)

My mw made me promise not to use it before 16 weeks, although I did, cos she said that even they can't always find the hb before 20 weeks anyway and it can cause unnecessary panic. Try going on all fours, full bladder and see if you get anything, that's how I first heard it.

Dopplers take a lot of patience to get used to. Do small movements with it and plenty of gel.

Do you think you are further than 15 weeks? Did they not date you at your 12 week scan hun? xxxxxxxxx

My baby hides now and again. Just take your time. And it's always lower than you think.

yes try very low, I couldn't find mine till I tried down super low in the middle

Hi bb, yeah my cycles are quite reqular so when they put me back almost 2 weeks I'm a lil sceptical but who knows! Just a feeling I get that I'm 16 weeks at least.
Tried on all fours , oh took a very unflattering picture! Heard a lot of bubbly, pops and swish swooshing but nothing I can make out as a heart beat. I'll just keep trying everyday. Finding listening to my own heart beat soothing lol! X x x

P.s and how low are we talking, cos I'm going pretty low lol

i couldnt find mine til 16 weeks lol but were talking low enough that if you hadnt shaved you might have to lol. right on the pubic bone then angle towards the back of your feet even if necessary. you get your hb and babys hb so babys is the fastest one, it can be anywhere across that whole area but should be low down. now my babs hides behind the placena a lot so i dont use mine as much, good job she started moving round so i can feel it lol

Yeah couldn't believe it! As was said, down by the hairy bit where I thought was like a bone lol its like Lo was behind there lol.
