Don't read if your baby hasn't had jabs yet!

after noas second i had given calpol n he slept aswell for hours nn woke up happy :)

Injections are horrible! I felt awful when lo had his! I was told by a nurse to have lo BF while he had the injections as they don't notice as much, unfortunately lo decided to stop BF before I could do that. :wall2:
I spoke to a friend, who advised me to give lo calpol about 30mins to 1 hour before lo's jabs and it really worked for us (at least it seemed to). Lo cried a lot less and seemed to calm down a lot faster, I think it was because we didn't have to wait for the calpol to get into system and start working.
Lots of mummy cuddles are a definate must! They made me feel a little better too, I spent a lot of the time crying because I took my baby to the doctors and hurt him! Silly I know!
I hope everyone's gorgeous babies are feeling a little better xxx

Yes I think Aiden was same as Noah! Much better thSt way!x
Mookie I agree I cried when he had them you just feel l awful but have to remember it's to protect them from a lot worse xx

Yeah I know, I felt so bad because I couldn't explain to him that it hurts now but will protect him in the long run. I made OH come to the other jabs for support and I made him hold lo so it was daddy's fault and mummy could make it better :muaha: It was really mean, I know!!!

Hehe Mookie that's what I did with Lizzie's - she calmed down when OH handed her to me afterwards but then started screaming again when she went back to him! He didn't like that much lol so I have to hold her next time :(
Will defo try giving calpol in advance :)

I'm really lucky as OH didn't mind! I hope all goes well next time! I think lo has to have his next set at 3 years so I have a while to prepare myself xx

Arwww bless, alfie was like that, he went bright red and then had white patches he was screaming so much!!!! I got the appointment throught today for the last lot....3 jabs!!!! 2 in one leg and 1 in other, im crapping meself!!( xxx

aww i didnt realise the 3rd lot are 3 jabs! one in each leg is bad enough :'-(

Seb didn't even notice the last two times he's had jabs done! He was too busy smiling at the nurse both times!!!
