so for the second year running I'm moving in December...if you can possibly avoid it don't do it!!! everything takes that little bit longer, costs that little bit more and it's that little bit colder than any other time of year,

on top of that this year I'm moving on the 23rd dec, while 28weeks pregnant, so I don't get to put up my tree :/

on the plus side, this year I have a lovely bf helping me move :) and by the 23rd I will be so Christmas mad having something else to concentrate on might make me tolerable to some people!

sorry for the pointless post, needed a little moan! x

I'm moving on the 21st December and will be 31 weeks.... Not looking forward to it!!! X

I'm moving in with my OH at the moment I'm thinking I need sectioning!!!

I am moving house this saturday with a 5 month old and 3 year old under foot, just be glad ladies this will hopefully be both of your moves done for a long while i can sympathise with you both x x x

sadly I will be moving again in a few months (next time with a 6mo ish!) me and oh are staying with his parents till his job deciedes whether its a live in position or not-complicated!

if I had spare hands I would lend them to u, but I don't so sending u luck instead! xxx

Cheers, and i am living with my in-laws now and i know how bad it can be so good luck to you x x x

Good luck! We decided we needed to move just after Alex was born (15 weeks ago) and we moved last weekend. It was the right decision but ohmygod it was hard work moving with a baby! Just make sure you have plenty of people to help you - after all, if you're pregnant you won't be able to lift or move anything yourself. Make sure you get plenty of rest afterwards :nap:

packed and moving everything I can next week, all in small boxes which will take longer but means I can help more! this is as I can still reach over my bump atm :)

fairplay! I dred to think about moving with a newborn! when we move again (with a 6month old ish) I will be roping in oh's brothers for heavy lifting and bribing his friends (lots of rugby players) with cakes and beer!

xx

I'm actually relieved I have extended my lease for another 6 months as I was meant to move house around now and I'm due any time with twins! Definitely couldn't have managed, good luck ladies it's a shame you can't get Christmas decs up but at least you can celebrate the new year in a new place :)

I'm currently buying a house and they proposed before Xmas for the timescale but they can bugger off!
