Don't know where to turn?

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I have a difficult confusing situation. I have a long history of miscarriages and on Sat (10.04.10) I started to have some brown discharge when I wiped after going to the toilet. So I did a pregnancy test as this is the way the previous miscarriages started. It was a positive result with an indicator of 1-2 weeks, so I re-tested with another test, same result.

However, I have just recently had a period? 31.03.10 which was about 3 days long and medium flow with normal period cramps. Went to hospital they did a test which initially was negative then re-tested it which was a weak positive. They have now booked me into early scan clinic on Thursday. The discharge has also stopped, went on for 2 days.

I am really confused???

Thanks Ladies, but bad news I have had a miscarriage number 9 now! The hospital is good but I never get any answers!!

I would ask the doctors for a referal to the hospital for tests really hope you are o.k x

Are your losses chemical or are you managing to get a bit further on? I suffered recurrent chemicals and an ectopic.

Sorry for what your going through. Sorry for asking but have you had nine in a row? I've had 4 but because i had babies in between them i didn't get to see a specialist, i was told i needed to have 3 in a row which i think is horrid!! My 3rd mc was at 4 months at that time i though i would get an answer but i didn't, then i went on to have my 4th and still no answer. Any mc is horrid but 9 is so awful. I really hope the cause of you mc's is found. x

Really sorry Lisa, Thinking of you right now going through this. I would really push for a refferal as no-one should have to have so many MC's without answers, support and a future plan to help further. XX

Sorry to hear that darling. I am really shocked that the hospital have not done anything after 9 mc's. I think you should take this up with the hospital or your GP as you should be getting some answers from them. Sending you lots of love xxx
