don't know whats wrong :( help if you can please

hey everyone

well heres my story...i haven't had my period since the 25th june 2011, so just over two months without a period. I've done several pregnancy tests and they've all tested negative.

I went to the doctors today and they basically couldn't do a lot for me, they told me to go on as normal and do a pregnancy test every month. They said if my period doesn't appear by December to go back in and basically they would induce a period, which i don't really want to do, I would rather it appeared itself.

Anyway...

I was wondering what could any of the causes be if anyone would know?

I was wondering if it was too do with an egg getting stuck in the fallopion tube as it has happened to family members before...

please help, any advice would be appreciated

Hiya, have you always been regular before this? Polycystic Ovaries would make something like that happen ie: missing a cycle. A lot of docs don't like to interfere without leaving it a few months. I would think though that if your last period was back in June and you have not had any positive pregnancy tests that it is unlikely to be that you are pregnant. Have you been under any stress etc lately? x

Ive always been 28days regular never ever a fault. What is that? am pretty lost when it comes to all this.

See i dont believe i am pregnant or anything stuck in the fallopion tubes but a few friends have mentioned it and just made me think.

no definately not been stressed lately, its a mystery to me why nothing has happened.

just hate not knowing what is going on with me

Mayb a cyst? Or perhaps a sudden change of stress a sudden weight loss or gain can.cause periods to become irregular I guess its also possible you are pregnant but hgc levels aren't high enough to make a positive test tho I can't think how or why this may happen hugs xx

yeah the doctor asked if my weigh gain had changed or if i was an athelete but none of these occur for me so i really dont no what is going on ! its just so confusing, i have everything running through my mind of what could be wrong and i dont really want to wait to December to have a period, but suppose i dont have much of a choice unless my period does arrive. aww thanks hugs xxx

If you were regular all your life and then one day it just didn't appear, that is quite strange i think but like Princess said it sounds like you are having difficulty ovulating for some reason.

If you don't ovulate then you don't release the hormones that would eventually cause a period.

I don't believe that anything is stuck in your fallopian tubes anyway. If a non-fertilisaed egg got stuck it wouldn't do anything and if a fertilised egg got stuck and you were having an ectopic pregnancy then you would be about 8 weeks pregant and you'd definitely be getting a positive pregnancy test and probably even feeling a lot of pain by now.

Unfortunately, whatever it is, there is nothing that you can do for it

it definately sucks ass cause ive no clue what it is and im pure freaking out, its so strange like. I really appreciate all the help.
