Does your baby have a comforter???

Q has never had one and I have always preferred that he relied on humans rather than inanimate objects for comfort but that is just my personal opinion.

Angel had muslins at a young age. She also wouldn't entertain a dummy. I found muslins were brilliant, and they're thin too. She always had one wherever we went. But now she doesn't. It's like she's too big for one now.

My eldest son has a teddy he calls Moosey and has had that from about 6-7 weeks old!
He would fall asleep with his arms round my hand so I switched it for Moosey and he still has him now! He doesnt always have him with him etc but say when he is feeling a bit poorly he will get Moosey and Im glad he has that the comfort him still!

my lil girl has never had a dummy she has a comforter called "bunny" and she wudnt be without it she has had it since she was born and it calms her right down i would reccomend it as if she is in a new environment she always has bunny which is familiar to her, and she can touch and smell it and be reassured x

We use muslins. Ours are all yellow and so LO never notices if we switch them, which I do every couple of days. Do this so the smell is always freshly laundered and stays clean.

They are thin, great for LO's hands to play with. My LO holds it, throws it over his face, cuddles up to it and happily falls asleep with it pressed against his cheek. Once he is asleep we take it out of the cot and only give it back if he stirs in the night. Otherwise we leave it out, so he doesn't start to have it outside of bedtime in the cot.

Kyla doesnt have anything just her dummy. My nephew tho had a dummy and a little rabbit called 'Squeak' lol. If was good when he was small, but he's four now and still takes him everywhere (except for school) the bad thing about it is he says that he cant give his dummy up because squeak and the dummy are one (thats what he says lol) and squeak is his bestfriend he often tells me, bless him. I do think they are a good idea if they not having a dummy.

jack has a dummy sometimes, but he prefers his teddy blanket thing! they sell them in asda they are a small teddy with a little blanket attached to them. jack loves it at night he puts it over his eyes xx

Connie doesn't have one that she relies on but she loves this little pink cuddly toy she got for Xmas. She instantly grabbed it when we opened xmas day  . She loves to cuddle it, think it's because it's soft. It's an ugly looking little thing which we've called wee willy pinky  .
