As title says.. I've heard it hurts more... Is that true??
I've had my steroids and mw doesn't seem concerned if I keep contracting so they must be ok with it...

Also if I contract but don't dilate or anything will they help me?? She said yesterday I'm not dilated but cervix is shortening..

i gave birth at 33 wks hun and it was the easiest labour and delivery ever!! turned up at hospital 10cm dilated and had her . wouldnt worry about it! xx

probably not what your after but i had a labour at 23 weeks and it felt just the same as a labour at 40 weeks. just that my womb was smaller and my cervix didnt need to dilate so much coz the baby was so small.

but it was the same

Thank you both :) seems like it's not gonna happen for me just yet anyway.. Thought the body not being ready would make it hurt more..
Bigbump

I had 3 full term labours before my premature daughter who was 23+6, her labour was different, less intense pain wise. I contracted for 3 days, dilating VERY slowly, which I was glad of as every day I kept her inside helped her grow a bit more. They would only have intervened if my waters became infected (pprom at 23+3). xx

Do they know what caused it?? (if you don't mind me asking?)

I had a urine infection which caused my membranes to rupture. :( Something so simple caused so many problems. But my tiny miracle will be celebrating her 1st birthday in 3 weeks. :)

Blimey!! Something so simple! Bless, I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating ur miracles first birthday!! Truly amazing!! Thank you for sharing with me :) xx

As you probably read in my birth story my labour was super quick and no where near as painful as my daughter who was a week late. I just guess each labour can be different though. Hopefully you will be ok x

Ooh is it up?? I'll have a look.. Signal on my phone has been crap lately and hard to browse the forum just go on the emails I get.. So end up missing everything
So glad u had an easy birth babe well done :)

Looks like my LO is in there for the long run now..x
