Having a bit of a mare right now..

Before I had DS I was suspected endometriosis, after DS in 2017 my AF were soo much different, light and not very painful, down to 32 day cycles.

The last 2 cycles its been like holy hell, cycles back to 43 odd days, very heavy (like changing quite regularly, tmi soaking through pad and my clothes) and pain that makes me sick. But I also experience cramps when I ovulate too.

So this weeks been interesting, my AF finished last Friday then on Sunday I started getting cramps again and today I've been spotting and feeling really sick and off food.

Could I be ovulation bleeding? I'm going to ring my drs tomorrow, I don't feel right at all. I'm just at a loss as this is new to me and we wanted to start trying soon.

Good idea to see the doctor. I used to bleed during ovulation. I think it's something that needs checking out with gynaeocology.

The month i got my bfp i had my usual AF, then a few weeks after that i had 3 days of bleeding and went into absolute panic mode as i had never had it before. Of course i came to here for answers, so put it down to ovulation bleeding.

After googling it, its apparently meant to make you more fertile and that couldnt be more true for me. I actually thought i was going to be out that cycle as it was so out of the ordinary, then i got my ovulation peak, so dtd and bam, we caught that month.

So if anything, i would say ovulation bleeding can almost be a good sign - but then i would say that, as i caught that month. As ever, everyone is different xx

Ahh OK that's very interesting, thanks girls.

This is new to me, I get ovulation cramps but no blood. In fact, I only ever spotted twice when I got pregnant and both pregnancies ended in miscarriages.

Couldn't get in to see my Dr today, I feel like I'm going to throw up still and tender down below but no more bleeds.

I can't see that I'm pregnant were using protection as we are holding off until May, so I'll literally laugh my butt off if we are.

The month I conceived my daughter I also had a bit of bleeding, but very little. It was some blood mixed with ewcm. I think it happens a lot since a follicule is a sac or cyst with an egg inside. When they burst, there can be some bleeding.
But as your AF is heavy, do get it checked out!x

Hmmm actually having just read your first post properly, i think from the end of your period to the next bleed is too soon to call it ovulation bleeding.

Probably just one of those times us ladies get hit with a weird and wonderful cycle  oh the joys of being a woman. I can totally sympathise with you with the heaviness of a period! I do not miss them one bit, but i am sure after the little one is born they will just continue to be as horrible as they were before  x

Ye I've had it before, but more heavier bleeds. Actually first time I thought it was a period and didn't find out I was pregnant until 13 weeks, then I lost a few weeks later.

This was just spots on my underwear and when I went to the loo. Cm was there, sticky I guess. It was a mixed fresh and old bleed.

Yeah, my mum said I was pregnant but I haven't had chance to ovulate looking at my chart, it's in the next two weeks.

I think maybe my hormones are off, I'm having a duvet day, I'm too crampy and sick to move.

They do get better, believe me, I was like I am now since I was 12. I use to have days off school because they were so painful and heavy. After ds, they were so much better. Very light, I just have crap luck they came back lol..

Oh thats good to know - i have never been on any kind of contraception as never really wanted to, but said to my sister this year 'if we wernt ttc, i would be straight down the gp's getting on the pill' thank fully it didnt take us long, so a period is a distant memory - bring on child birth

No nor me, i tried the pill, coil, diaphragm thing, either too painful or made me super moody.

They'll ask you when you're getting discharged (and this was 3days later after being poked, examined and induced) and I said "contraception?! Sex is the last thing I'm thinking about right now!" lol

I'm starting to worry its a fibroid or something now :( I spotted again fresher blood today. Its very little spots

Feeling really off, nauseous, cramps still :(. I dunno what to do, my gp is crap won't give emergency appointments unless you ring on a certain day. and I missed out on them today cause the line is constantly engaged.

I can't see I'm pregnant, I had af on 2nd to the 7th, we did dtd (sorry tmi) on the 10th but there's no where in between for me to ovulate. My app says I ovulate on the 23rd.

Im just really anxious now somethings not right with me. I feel awful :(

@SpiritedAway try not to worry. I spot regularly when I ovulate and get a stabbing pain in my side. I usually get a whoosh of watery discharge too so I take it as a good sign as I know I’m ovulating. Once the blood soaked through my jeans ! It wasn’t a huge amount , just a surprise- but it concerned me and my consultant said it was a good sign.

Hopefully you can get checked out soon to put your mind at rest x

Thank you lovely :)

Yeah I get pains but blood has freaked me a little as I've never had bleeds other than implantation or periods.

It's not a lot tbh, I think you probably wouldn't of noticed it was just there on my underwear. I'm going to ring tomorrow morning or my DH will for an emergency appointment.

I am still cramping pretty bad in my groin and back. I've been taking pain killers now from Monday so I think I need to go.
