Do/Did You Enjoy Being Pregnant?

yes up until I was 31 weeks and now I just want to meet my lil boy, I feel huge now and ache all the time

I thought pregnancy would be a breeze :rotfl: One word - NAIVE!!!

I love feeling my baby inside of me wriggling and kicking and I know for sure I will miss that when he's out but I'll love having my body back as my own. It feels very much like how I imagine being elderly is what with the weeing, walking 2mph, cant get out the bath etc etc  Im such a spritely person normally so this is totally weird for me but I'd do it all again in a second if it meant having another baby. At least I know what to expect next time :)

I loved it so much, cant wait until the time is right for another one :cheer:

I did complain an awful lot while i was preggers tho

yes and no, there were aspects which were fab - gettin into clubs for free and gettin free orange juice haha  but the heat was horrible :puke:

and whats left of my 'body' has put me off havin more :shakehead:

At the time I hated it, I just had one problem after another and I spent most of the 9 months feeling sorry for myself

When I first had Ryan I didn't miss my bump at all, I was too busy to really think about it but as the months have passed and I see photos of me with a bump I do kinda miss it. I can't even remember what it felt like to have him kicking inside me anymore :(

I definitely want more kids in the future but my pregnancy with Ryan was really difficult and I'm scared of that happening again. So anyway, there are parts that I really liked and parts that I hated :?

i'm fed up now and want it over with, but i've had such an easy pregnancy that i can't moan at all.
the worst thing about it is the loneliness when your friends don't think you exist anymore.
but other than that it's been fab :D

i loved it :cheer: and now i miss it

KIMBO where is this baby :o

I have wanted to be pregnant for soooo very long, but now that I am, I have to admit that it is not my favourite activity!

I have quite a nice pregnancy so far and I do love feeling my little one kick about, but I get intensely frustrated at being so tried and dizzy that it stops me from being as active as I would like. I am fiercely independent so I hate it when I can't so something or get tired really quickly. I don't like to have to ask other people to do things for me.

I hated it. I felt like crap and i really struggled with being so big which wasnt helped be all the cheeky gits who think its fine to tell you that you look huge.

OMG isn't that just the worst thing... I got fed up of people asking if it was twins, and looking utterly shocked when I told them I wasn't due for another few months

I loved it, I have felt more useful and happy during pregnancy then during any other time of my life...like what I was doing was REALLY worthwhile... except with Ani, my third - I think it might be something to do with age, but I was a lot more uncomfortable....

Still enjoyed it tho, and if I thought it was wise economically and physically (which I dont) I would prob have another!

First one I hated, it was so uncomfortable and I became convinced that whole "glowing" thing was a myth! I weed myself once in the middle of town, would throw up at the slightest whiff of smoke or alcohol (2 things I had to give up immediately....think it was my bodies way of helping me lol) and my boobs were in constant agony from day one.

The second though was an absolute joy...I bloomed and glowed, my hair and skin became so lush, I felt well and happy throughout and wasnt sick once!

So yes and no :)

Hate being pregnant and have done every time - doesnt put me off tho  - think it is because I am a big girl anyway - size 18-20 and being pregnant makes me even heavier so everything gets difficult - I am exhausted by lunchtime, spend all day bending to pick up stuff, load washer etc which gives me heartburn and just generally dont bloom - enjoy labour tho - love a challenge

Thank you everyone for your replies. I really felt mean in saying that I haven't really enjoyed it. I have three friends who gave birth not so long ago and they all said that they breezed through it, no sickness, nothing!

I am hoping that next time as I'll know what to expect, everything won't feel quite as bad...maybe even next time I'll breeze through it too  :D

I absolutely loved being pregnant and I miss it a lot! Even if I were sick for the first 4 months non stop and had SPD for the last 2  :D I just loved the feeling, that there is a baby growing inside me, and seeing my bump getting bigger  Soo proud! Want to become pregnant again! (No babies thought yet! )

I found one of the best bits was not worrying about holding my stomach in for the first time in my adult life

Yes, im loving that :D All my friends are really skinny and have great figures (the swines) and i always feel like a right old minger when i go out with them, but since being preggers, apparently im 'blooming' and theyre all jelous of my lovely skin. Its great being allowed to be fat now :rotfl:

I do like being preggers, but im getting pretty large now, i cant go out much (all my mates go to pubs and clubs, im too knackered, dont want some drunk git bumping into me!) and i must admit i get a bit down at the weekends. It gets to friday night and im like, "what shall i do tonight? bath and an early night, same as always" :rotfl:

But then i sit in bed feeling my bubba kick and watching my tummy move and i love it :D cant complain really! I like that my baby is all safe in my tummy , away from the MIL nad FIL who are already on about stealing my baby for days out .... :shakehead: (that is sooooooooo ot gonna happen lol)
