I used this tonight and my skin turned out so soft and it was virtually free! I decided to make my own after I almost spent £10 on a Sanctuary one..glad I didnt now!

This is what I mixed up:

Granulated Sugar
Good squeeze of Johnsons Baby Bath (the one with baby oil in it)
A good glug of Boots oil that I bought to mix my essential oils in
2 drops Mandarin essential oil

Mix it all up and rub all over a damp body, its gorgeous and leaves your skin silky soft! You can put all sorts of stuff in, I usually add something with a cleansing action as it will help wash away excess oil. A good one for your hands is sugar, olive oil and lemon juice - its brilliant on feet too!

I loveeeeee it :yay: I use FCUK scrub and costs me a bomb, will defo be trying this :yay: xx

Yeh! Im starting to really hate spending loads on stuff like this - good thing is you can make up just the amount you need to aswell so its not hanging around :)

It's a fab idea.. And love the way you can try different things, do you know any DIY hair treatments? I seem to spend lots of things that promise to do things.. And they dont  I know olive oil is supposed to be great for the scalp

Oooh I love the idea of making your own! I'm going to see what I've got and give this a try! :yay:

I'll get back to you on the hair thing, I know that beer is good for shine! :)

I once heard something about raw eggs on your hair, might want to do some research before believing me cos I couldve just dreamed it!

How much suger RM? Sounds a great idea, I'm all for money saving

Well I used about a cup measurement full, that did my whole body and a bit left over. I guess you could use caster sugar for a face scrub with some ground almonds and sweet almond oil if you have dry skin? :)

Thanks RM, just had a thought, are you allowed to use essential oils in pregnancy?

I thought I would rebump this as I've been thinking of it for ages and just found it :)

Nope, WTT :brat:.. It's the right thing to do at this time, but I wouldn't be exactly disappointed if a little surprise happened  What about you? I have seen a few posts that come off a tad broody ;) xx
