Distracted!

Ralph has started to notice his surroundings a lot more now. When I feed him bottle or breast he can't stop looking around and smiling and it takes ages to feed him lol Its so so cute but frustrating as I want to be on with things! can anyone relate to this with their LO? Xx

yeah, my henry been doing that when he's on the breast he'll stop and lift his head to try and see whats going on if there is noise. its worse when i am lying on my side feeding him he's started rolling on his back and looking around, and nearly all the time he just stops and plays with my nipple with his mouth as if say 'shall i have a feed....maybe....na' i got told by MW and HV that its normal. x x x

Ha ha Ralph plays around on the breast like that too! I breast feed with a pillow underneath him when I'm sitting up and he roll on his back also and just lay there and smile and coo then go back to the nipple and go on and off lol x

its so cute yet so annoying henry doing it as i type. he also gumms my nipple too x x x

I posted this when Albert was the same age and Pinky said it gets worse. Never a truer word said lol. He's turned into an owl lol and swivels his head but still has the teat in his mouth. It's one of the rare times I'm glad he is bottle fed. May I suggest stocking up on nipple cream

already stocked up babybrain got loads when they were on offer, he's already made my nipples crack till they have bled 3 times. i am use to the looking around and all that my daughter did it when i fed her. i perfer the breast to bottle as i like the feel of the bond i have with him and i lost that with my daughter when i switched to bottle x x x
