Now i have to admitt, i dont eveer cook, havent really cooked and dont really have much in a interest in it. The OH loves to cook so i let him get on with it.
I dont think we eat the things that we should because of us not having enough time after work ect.. Although my hours at work have just been cut and ill be at home most of the time.. so i wondered if you girls could give me some ideas of healthy things to eat/make.
Thinking my diet is a big part of why i still havent got my bfp so would really appreciate some help!

Thanks in advance :) xxx

Hi hunny
Hope your ok.
Try and stick to your 5 aday, whether it be either fruit or veg and drink plenty of water, as ive heard drinking plenty of fluids can help.
Do you drink much tea/coffee? x x

i try to vary what we eat as much as possible so every week we will have one meal including each of the following;

chicken
turkey
beef
lamb
fish

then i just add a sauce or roast them, curry them etc. as m2a said, lots of veg and fruit with it too! except over the xmas period we always have only the food in the house that will be in dinner, so literally just those ingrediants and cereal for brekkie, that usually ensures there's no snacking xx

Where really terrible at buying big packets of doritos and eating a whole packet in one evening with dips.. and its only like 2 hours after dinner! :| not every night lol but atleast once a week.. And as for tea/coffee.. i do love my tea but when im working i dont get tea breaks really so i kinda make up for it at home:| i have a few cups a dayy..but not a lot of coffee..i have told oh not to drink the normal 5-6 cups of coffee at work!
Got a slow cooker for xmas ..the whole family bought me cooking stuff( think there fed up with me not cooking lol) big hints!
its just not knowing how or what to do with things, what to buy lol

But thanks girls ill have to look some up on interweb to see what i can try do lol! :)

OH and I are both keen to stop being such slaves to our junk food....

We're gonna make much more of an effort to eat properly (we're half-way there, we usually eat decent meat and veg when I cook for dinner) Major thing being what we eat at work for lunch.

We've had far too much fizzy drink and beer over Christmas!

The better we can both do by the summer the better!!

Good luck hun!
Lxx

If you love drinking tea maybe try drink redbush tea, its naturally caffine free and tastes quite yummy :) ive got through 40 teabags in a week!!
As for the chrisps and dips, use them as a treat once a week and just buy a small bag, if you have stuck to your healthy diet through the week then treat yourself :) x x

Yes hunny, you can get it from the supermarket, its a natural caffine free alternative. You can get it in different flavours too, upto now ive had the original one and the vanilla and they are both yummy. Tetleys do them along with a few others. Well worth a try if you want to cut caffine out :) x x

I love redbush! I have my 3 cup limit of caffeinated bevs then move to redbush. I've got the tick tock ones.

Slow cooker is one of the best gadgets ever!! I make bolognese ( literally dump all ingredients in and leave for 5 hours!) and stews. One tip to save u learning the hard way is boil potatoes first before adding cos they don't soften in the slow cooker. And never make rice pudding, get distracted by James Bond at the crucial moment and end up with inedible wallpaper paste. Think that last one is just me lol! Xx

slow cookers are the way forward....amazin xx

we have a ham in ours as i type...

I make tea in general from herbs and plants. I'm very fond of fennel tea. I save the seeds and grind them up when i cant get it fresh. Or mint tea or nettle or dandelion.

I used to be a coffee addict, but feel so much better now i've given it up
