Did ur midwife listen to babys heartbeat at 16 wks?

Im not 16 weeks yet and mine listened yesterday when I saw her and found the heartbeat, think it depends on the midwife really x

Mine did without me asking, she said from then on every time I go she will have a listen, felt very lucky as I wasn't expecting her to x

Yeah midwife listened to babys heartbeat at 16 week appointment and found it straight away, and shes listened to it at every appointment since. Like the other ladies have said, i think it all depends on the area you live and depends on the midwife xxx

I had my 16 week appointement yesterday and she never even mentioned listening to the hearbeat, I just got bloods, my bump measured and she banged on about the flu jab thing. . I'm sure if I had asked and pleaded with her she would have though.

Bloods at 16wk?!!! Did u not have them done at 12?x

oh yeah she did some bloods at first appointment, think this one was for down syndrome and something else, its to see what the odds are or something?

my whole app was meant to be that and bloods at 16 weeks, she only done bloods, it was a diff midwife but it was on my notes, my sister said its because they want to save time so dont really do it unless you ask them to!
