Well after reading ALL of this (when I should have been napping!) I thought of a few things to do with the debate but having got to the end I won't bother now as it's way too early to start another debate lol so instead all I have to say is...

Jen you're firefighter story made me cry. I know a fireman who on his first ever shift had to pull three people out of a massive fire and they all died, he hasn't gotten over it and it was 7 years ago it's horrible.
I have the football debate with Lee almost every day, his brothers in the army and hes quite high up the ranks, he doesn't earn as much in a year as some footballers wan in a week! It's sickening. I used to love football passionately but now I can't watch it cos it just gets me mad, wtf do they do for their country for them to have the right to "earn" that much money?! People risk their lives everyday for pennies and I get they do it for the love of the job but they deserve more. Urgh I wish I hadn't said anything now cos ive just managed to make myself angry!!

I think Kerry has issues that run deeper than a drug binge or going off the rails and getting back on, even on her new show she always comes across to me as unstable.. She always talks about herself as a third person "nobody knows what its like to be Kerry Katona" "its not easy being Kerry Katona" her kids asked her why she was being so nice in one episode and I had to laugh because she was obviously over doing it for the cameras she also had her youngest too in the back of her car unstrapped, while she was singing and actually dancing in the front seat

I was speaking to a psychotherapist recently about katona and kp. They both claim to have bipolar but they appear more to have borderline personality disorder than bipolar. Unfortunately bipolar is more accepted and has less stigma attached to it than bpd (know from personal experience and work I've done surrounding bpd)
Sometimes I wonder if the people who look after Kerry take advantage because she is so messed up. Both her and kp would have the means to pay for the best treatment but they don't seem to be going for it. Then again we don't know what really goes on.

You're right, I think kp was talking about getting help at one point. Like you say though, you only know what you see on tv or read about. You wonder if the people who surround kp and kk are really looking after their best interests or infact taking advantage of their mental ill health. It's so sad x
