haha yes the first thing i said when i saw the mam was burgular! not a flattering style of hat for anyone..but on tv? id die of embarrassment. yes the bike thing was odd. id be terrified a car would hit me in that..

I had a very small hole once (not through bad hygiene, I'd like to point out lol) and it gave me sooo much pain, and I mean a tiny hole!
Disgusting! I did squirm when they said that the baby had orange nails at the end 'because we both smoke' ggrrr makes me very angry!

Oh yeah I forgot all about that with the orange nails. So she was smoking through pregnancy then?
I really hope they aren't going to take the baby out in that bike thing. I was thinking through the programme, I hope they have a pram and a car seat lol.
It's a shame for them though as it's probably how they have been brought up.
She gets free dental care on nhs so hopefully she will use it. X

edited my original message because i realised how awful I sounded, very judgemental, personally I am grateful that I have a nice clean life where we keep ourselves nice and clean and my childs health is so important to me, I would never let him be anywhere near smoke etc... its a shame that the young couple dont realise the implications of smoking, anyhoo... the teeth, yep! she needs a dentist badly xx

actually i agree with you, and I maybe I should have left my original message up there as on reflection it wasnt so much shamelessly judgemental as upset at the obvious lack of care that both kids parents were displaying, and I never once implied that she would be a bad mother.

Haven't seen the program but I know I know I would have thought the same as most of you, I'm not being funny if you haven't got the brains to brush your own teeth or go to a dentist then there's not much hope you'll do a good job of caring for a baby!

I've just been for a fertility appointment at the hospital and there were two girls in their PJs heavily pregnant probably in early labor having fags outside!!!

Disgusted doesn't even begin to explain how I felt, I'm really healthy with no BFP nearly a year on and they're abusing their own bodies and their babys!! Arrrggghhh!!

Rant over for now!!

I saw this too,did u see at the end the baby's nails were yellow so it has affected the poor wee thing,I was disgusted,they dnt care about themselves so how can they care about that little baby

Maybe I am being judgemental, but that's human nature. I 100% agree with maybe, if she can't look after herself, how can she care for a new baby? I think they are thoroughly irresponsible, they were "sofa" surfing at the time of bfp (their word, not mine), and the boy said they couldn't afford food. So yes, I am judging them on the information that THEY have put out into the public domain by being on national tv.

I'm watching it now, didn't realise it was on last night thought it was on Tuesdays

Anyway, I'm going to stick my neck out here and say, when I was pregnant with Doodles, I smoked, I cut down dramitcally and managed to kick the habbit for the last 2months I was pregnant but it didn't mean I didn't love my baby, it just meant that I was very stupid & naive. I gave up as soon as he was born, he was 7weeks prem through my own ill health meaning that I needed an emergancey c-section.

I do agree though that it was very irrisponsible of them to end up pregnant when in such dire situations as they've admited they were (and yes her teeth are VERY poor), she looks like a mix of Jade Goody & Emma Watson.
