Desperate help

I WAS SENT TO MARISTOPES FOR ATERMINATION AT 21 WEEKS DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY BABY HAD LOTS OF ABNORMALITIES WITHOUT AREFERRAL,THE CONSULTANT JUST TOLD ME TO LOOK UP ON THE INTERNET THEN BOOK IT THEN AFTER THAT CALL HER AND SHE WILL REFER ME BUT WHEN I PHONED HER SHE TOLD ME TO JUST GO AHEAD.wHEN I WAS AT MARISTOPES THEY ASKED ME FOR MY SCAN REPORT WHICH I WAS ALSO NOT GIVEN AND MY REFERRAL AND I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT I WAS ASKED TO JUST LOOK UP ON THE INTERNET AND THEN BOOK.

SECONDLY WHEN I HAD MY 12 WEEKS SCAN AND 5 DAYS THE SCAN REPORT SHOWED AND SAID THAT THE SKULL/BRAIN APPEARS NORMAL,ABDOMENAPPEARS NORMAL,HANDS BOTH VISIBLE ,FEET BOTH VISIBLE

THEN AT 2O WEEKS SCAN AND 5 DAYS THE SONOGRAPHER SAID SHE COULDNT SEE ONE HAND AND LOOKS LIKE IT IS DEFORMED.MY QUESTION IS IF BOTH HANDS WERE VISIBLE AT 12 WEEKS SCAN HOW COME AT 20 WEEKS ITS DISAPEARED? IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM AT 12 WEEKS I COULD HAVE BEEN OFFERED ANOTHER SCAN BEFORE 20 WEEKS ,I HAD TO GO THROUGH A VERY PAINFUL TERMINATION AT MARISTOPES AND WAS NOT EVEN OFFERED PAIN KILLERS FOR 4 HOURS AND WHEN I ASKED FOR AMBULANCE THATS THE TIME I WAS ATTENDED TO.

sOME ONE PLEASE ADVICE ME,IAM NOT LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY BUT THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE OUT THERE.

I am sorry for what you have been through and what you have had taken away from you.

I really don't know who you would need to speak to, but I really feel that this is something you should follow up and not let go because it does seem that there are some rather major inconsistencies with your scans.

I hope someone here can point you in the right direction of who to speak to and I wish you the best xxxx

What happened to you is devastating and you need answers but I'm not really sure anyone here can provide them for you. Have you talked to a professional body, or a charity such as Tommy's and asked them to advise you?
You need to speak to experts and people who really know the ins and outs of foetal development. Give Tommy's a ring or look on their site, they research into abnormalities and things going wrong in pregnancy.
