My OH got his second sperm tests back yesterday and they are much better although still on the low end of motility. The doctor said that the problem with the previous test was dehydration and that long term dehydration can take up to 6 months to stop having an effect. We've been trying for 3 years so I'm a little annoyed that the problem could have been something this simple.

So make sure your blokes are drinking enough water. My OH would have one cup of coffee all morning and nothing else.

The doctor thinks it affected his performance too.

That’s really useful to know, thanks Sunflower. I hope this now makes your journey that little bit easier and you get that BFP soon. Thanks for sharing. X

Wow - thanks for sharing, my husband is a nightmare for drinking enough. I'll start getting him to drink more water now.

Yeah, it can really affect your chances and takes a while to recover from. My OH now has a pint of water on waking.
