Ladies from experience I would hold off until at least 6 weeks for an early scan, that’s the earliest you’ll see baby and heartbeat really. If everything measures ok and you see a heartbeat it’s looking good, next time I’m waiting until 8 weeks at least but that’s personal preference, good luck! Hope your pregnancies go smoothly x

Hello everyone!
Hope you don't mind me joining the thread but I got these two lovely BFPs this weekend and I am over the moon. We've been trying for 6 months and could not believe it when I saw that 2nd pink line show up!
Initially was a wee bit reluctant to post because I'm feeling anxious about it all but the whole not saying anything to anyone has finally got to me! I'm fit to burst with excitement
Due around the 14th of December going by dates and have phoned to get my initial booking appointment and 12 wk scan booked!
Can't actually believe it's happened x

The midwife has said there’s no way I could be five weeks pregnant I can only be a maximum of two at a push. They won’t scan me as they won’t count my early mc as a period. I’m waiting for bloods now xx

ah wow, but your pregnancy lines are quite dark right? They would be able to tell from the blood tests when its best to scan. Did they take your bloods already? if so when will you hear back? let us know

Darker than the control line now ! There’s no way I’m only two weeks as I would have found out I was pregnant a week before I ovulated which is impossible. I’m waiting for the test now. They’re really busy today but should have results this afternoon or tomorrow morning. If they’re low I have to come back Wednesday for bloods if they’re high enough they’ll scan me.
I’m meant to be having a root canal tomorrow but I’m going to cancel it as I’m terrified of the damage it could do. I’ll re book for tri 2 when things are a bit safer. X

Hmm.. wonder if they’re counting weeks from conception rather than pregnancy weeks. If you’re 2 weeks pregnant, you’re not even pregnant - you’re ovulating. How bizarre!

I’ve been told to call at 4.45 if they haven’t called. The lady taking my blood was lovely and said they didn’t listen to her either they said she was 12 weeks when actually she was 16 !!

Yes that’s what I also had to do. They forgot to call me so I called them around 4pm.

I was the same waiting for the results. I literally couldn't relax all day and I took a nap so the time gone quicker

I’m feeling snappy and emotional today. It just feels like first tri is such a long time in limbo.

Sickness has practically gone today, although I was slightly nauseous an hour ago. I’m absolutely shattered and my boobs ache. Oh.. did I mention I’m grumpy

oh yes grumpy! I am the same but I am more tired than anything. I got 3 hours sleep last night and at work trying to survive. Like you said I wish it would go fast these weeks. I also have the same problem, I was very nauseous this morning than its gone than came back for an hour than gone again. I wish I could have a full nights sleep as I haven't slept since I got my BFP

I can’t sleep too. I’m classing that as another symptom I went from feeling like I’m going to throw up to mild waves of nausea. I just want to be sick so it feels more real. Feel like a crazy person

Its good to feel sick because they say all progressing ok, I don't feel sick much just a couple of hours in the morning. I wish I felt sick more so I would feel more pregnant

It’s early days. At least it’s progressing in the right direction At least I’m not the only crazy one wanting to throw up

The past few days I’ve had times of being that close to being sick. And then, after the feeling goes, I worry that it was my mind playing tricks on me. At the time I know it’s way more than just queasiness
