Apparently the best way to add people is by email address so if you let me know your email addys I can send an invite :D

I'm crap with this modern social networking stuff!!

At least another 3 or 4 weeks until I do mine so I think I will be last, lol.

My NHS scan is on the 5th! Having the harmony blood test on Saturday, 2nd June and they said they do a very quick scan, so hoping to check everything is okay in just two days time

Hi all,

Haven't been on here for a while so I'm just catching up!

I have my scan on June 4th, mid-afternoon. Feels like it's been a VERY long time coming as it will be my first scan and I'll be 13w3d at that point. :-/

WRT the baby's gender - I really don't want to know and my partner really does want to know! I think we'll have to flip a coin as we can't seem to convince one another to change their mind.

Does anyone have a bump? I've definitely gained weight in the tummy but I don't think I look pregnant, especially if I carefully maintain a good posture! I think overall I would like to keep bump fairly hidden when it does start to develop - presumably floaty clothes are good for that? I'm super excited about telling family and friends but I'm generally a private person so I don't want strangers/acquaintances etc to know I'm pregnant until it's blatantly obvious!

Looking forward to seeing everyone's scan pics as and when they're ready! :)

Xxx

I brought the cutest little elephant booties from the white company today! It was my first purchase for the baby. I plan on telling the rest of the family by giving them the little box to open with them in, and maybe the scan picture in too (I think someone else on this group did that, and I loved the idea so much I’ve stolen it!!)

Oh that sounds cute!!

Trying not to panic as had a bit of spotting this morning. Surely I can't be feeling this bad unless baby is doing well though. My sickness only seems to get worse by the day.

Hopefully all is OK I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Maybe contact epu if u r worried? X

Hope all is ok bunny! Try get epu to scan you? Surely all is ok if you are getting sicker? Xx

I would just go and get a private scan but don't think I am really fit enough even to get there.

:( have you had a nurse come and give you any more fluids? What meds are you on? Could they add any more in? Cx

Yes I'm getting iv fluids regularly. I'm on 32mg of zophran now. None of the doctors seem to want to mix medications. The antihistamine based ones seem to make me very dizzy anyway.

Anyone else’s veins on boobs look huge. I know it’s a pregnancy thing but I don’t remember veins like this with my son, almost like they will burst lol

Had a blood test yesterday and a quick scan, got to see a lovely strong heartbeat and a tiny little baby!! Unbelievable! Arms, legs...fingers!! Couldn't believe it and totally made up :-) Got my NHS scan on Tuesday, can't wait to see the little thing again!

Hope you are okay Bunny, has the spotting stopped? Hope you are feeling a bit better from this morning sickness, 10 weeks, you should be coming out of it within the next week or two hopefully.

Eaw123, yes veins are becoming obvious! My boobs are definitely bigger too!x

Thankfully no more spotting. So hopefully it was nothing significant. Last time the sickness started improving from 13 weeks so probably will be another 2 or 3 weeks until I see improvement but at least there is an end in sight.

Yes! I'm really pale and so it's more noticeable.

The scan sounds lovely, bet it was great to see baby!

Glad there's been no more spotting. Hopefully the sickness eases off soon.

I'm noticing a slight improvement in my sickness. Still needing to eat fairly often to keep it at bay but it's not been as bad.
My jeans are starting to feel uncomfortable now, I just look like I've eaten too much. Ordered a few maternity items from the jojo maman bebe outlet section/sale. Thought I may as well but now in preparation for winter :)
