BunnyN and millielaura, so sorry to hear of your sickness, I really hope you both feel better soon.
I'm 11w today so dared look in my Pregnancy book and it said baby is the size of a lime now! Seems massive as the last time I checked it was the size of a prune!
I've been battling a horrible sore throat and cold this week, there seems to be a lot going around.
Is anyone else seeing visibly pregnant women everywhere? It's so weird when you're pregnant but no one else can tell. I was hoping my boobs might grow a little but no joy there, haha!

I'm jealous, mine is still a raspberry, lol.

Counting days until I will feel better. Thankfully I don't seem to be one of those ladies who is sick the whole pregnancy. So hopefully will see improvement around 13 weeks.

Oh I also wanted to ask whether people will be sharing bump photos on here? I'd like to see other people's bumps (and share mine) - but don't know whether that is the done thing?

I’ve definitely got a small bump coming already! Which is scary as with my son didn’t really start showing until about 14 weeks! I’m worried people are going to notice before I get chance to tell them. Only 3 weeks to wait until scan then I officially share! Think people going to be in shock as always said I’m sticking with the one, and even telling people now when they ask if I’m going to have another that I’m not, just feel I need to stick to original story so they don’t work it out.

Sorry for everyone feeling so rubbish. I feel the same, it’s making me really fed up and feeling sorry for myself

Hi girls. Has anyone had a private scan done before the 12 weeks, if so is it worth it?

I got my first scan appointment through for the 12th June, and I’m feeling so impatient I’m thinking about booking a private scan for next week. What do you all think??

I'm dreading telling people this time, got enough crappy comments last time with baby no.5!

AllyBally that's lovely. I'm pleased they are so happy. My dad never says anything besides 'Oh right' and my mum lives abroad and she barely gets in touch. My husband's parents live abroad too so we don't really have grandparents here except my dad. He will probably be delighted once baby is here but won't really say much about it until then.

Hi lovely I had one at 6 weeks and saw the little tiny heartbeat and a pea of a baby in there and it was amazing I also had another at 8 weeks and again it was so lovely I would recommend it if you are fretting

I was just looking at private scans through a link on FB. They didn't advise scans before 10 weeks unless there was a medical need so I would say to wait until at least 10 weeks.

I won't be having a scan until my dating one on the 12th of June but there is no private clinic where I live so I don't have the option unless I want to travel.

Scan is at 8.00am on the 29th. Smack bang during half term.....

The letter says that kids aren't allowed in the exam room but I'm going to have to take her into the waiting room as I don't have child care. Maybe they will let her poke her head around the door if I ask nicely.

Glad everyone is getting there scans coming. Through got mine on Tuesday ahh still feeling crap today its a lovely day outside but my stomach is churning not making me want to go anywhere really anxious about work at the moment as not enjoying it at all but keep telling myself only a little while then off with baby.

That's great wolfmama. They r allowed in the waiting room but they def aren't allowed in for the scan, it's incase there is no heartbeat which def won't happen for u as u have seen it this week. Think. Its just to keep kids safe which I totally get. I def wouldn't have wanted dd to have seen me when I found out as I was hysterical. I have another early scan on Tuesday at 9+5 too

If my mother in law can’t look after my daughter the day of my scan then OH won’t be able to come there is no way I can take a 16 month old in there lol they won’t be able to concentrate xx

If he can’t get the time off work I’m going to have to rearrange it or just book a private dating scan. He’s the only one who does what he does at his company so sometimes they really can’t spare him. I think they will turn me away if I bring her on my own? Xx

They might have someone there who can keep an eye on her? I know my doctors surgery did this for me sometimes, if I had an appointment and had a baby with me, a lady from the reception would hold them. Maybe try calling to ask?

After 3 large babies I have a permanent bump, lol. With all the weight I have lost from sickness my tummy is kind of floppy now, but not at all flat. It makes it kind of hard to find where my actual baby bump should be coming in. I do love having a bump although I was never one of those tidy round bump women. My last pregnancy I looked like a house, lol.

Touch and go whether she would sit in it but she may well do if I let her have Peppa on my phone! I had to take her to my early one and she was a nightmare but I had brought the trike and she could climb out and my phone died so no peppa and they said then (it was a diff department) to not bring to 12 week one as they need to concentrate lol! I will call them if have to though and see whether I can bring her if not doing so would mean rearranging xxx

I have restless legs and it is driving me insaaaaane. I had it with my daughter but only in third tri! Can’t believe it’s started so early this time! I haven’t slept well the last few nights because of my legs lol! Does anyone else have this?

Restless legs are awful. I suffered terribly with them in my first pregnancy. Magnesium supplements seemed to pretty much cure them for me.
