***December 2016 mums***

Hi ladies! Congratulations to the new pinks and blues! :) I finally had my scan letter yesterday and it isn't until 23rd August!!! I'll be almost 22 weeks then! The wait is going to kill me! Thankfully I'm going away for the first week of August to visit family so that will distract me a little bit but 23rd seems so far away at the moment. X

Aaww that does seem like ages away but I'm sure it will fly by.

I've got mine tomorrow.. Eek!

And then my 28 week growth scan is booked for the 27/09. I've Also booked a HD live scan for the same day :) it's going to be a busy day; 28 week bloods, growth scan, consultant appointment and then going to a different town for the HD live scan. But hopefully I will get some good pics of babies face :) eek!
Xx

LO never seems to stop wiggling. I can feel loads of movements pretty much any time I sit still. Its funny how different movements can be from person to person and baby to baby. DS was and still is more laid back. This one already reminds me of DD. She never stopped wiggling in my tummy and hasn't stopped since she was born either. She was high maintenance as a baby so we might have our work cut out if this one is the same. This is my first time without an anterior placenta too so maybe that is why I feel more.

People keep asking if I have much longer to go... er, yeh, 5months, lol. I think I am going to end up truely massive by then! With my 1st I really didn't show much until I was about 7 months along.

im not sure anything about my placenta tbh that's what scares me with having 3 previous sections. What I'd give for a nice straightforward natural birth is unreal, the fear in theatre for me takes over until I hear the baby cry then a sigh of relief :) I keep having horrible dreams about it all already. Still not felt any movements yet at 18+ weeks, can't wait for my scan on 8th to see that little mans OK in there :) x

Had my 20 week scan today definite confirmation we're having a baby girl and she seems to be doing very well and reaching all her targets

Bunny it doesn't always work that way. My daughter was a right wriggler. She never stopped. But she was an amazing baby. Slept constantly but moved loads in the day. She rolled over at 17days old!! She's 2 now and can sleep have 4 hour naps and sleep 12 hours a night. So hopefully this baby will sleep for you.

This baby is lazy compared to our daughter. I'm terrified that will mean a difficult baby haha

Baby has not stopped moving today though. She's defo getting stronger. Or she's in a better position so the placentas not in the way.

Ikklemoi I'm sure they would have told you if there was an issue with your placenta.

Mummywanabe I'm glad everything went well :)
And she's still a little girl!

Mines tomorrow.. I can't wait! Xx

Do you ladies that already have little ones know when you first felt the baby move with your first? I am told it can be 20 weeks plus! i find it really hard to know as I don't know what it is suppose to feel like! I know people say bubbles which I think I have felt but who knows!! Haha!! Look forward to hearing about your scan tomorrow SIb. Xx

Mexico I was 14 weeks with my first. I was quite skinny back then and weight can delay it. I'm not sure what you weigh but if you are carrying a few more pounds it can hinder it.

I felt this baby at 14 weeks too though and I am in the overweight category.

I have to say I don't know how it can be hard to know. Personally it's always been very obvious that I could feel baby. BUT.. I am very in tune with my body. I know when my iron levels are going low, I've been pregnant 5 times and known a few days after DTD etc.

Saying that though some women can't feel the baby until after 20 weeks. So something stops them from feeling baby lol

My uterus is higher than it should be so maybe that's why I feel baby early? The lower and further back baby is the harder he/she would be to feel.

For me those first movements/kicks felt like little pops. Or like what it feels like when a fly lands on your arm etc. It's very light at first. Now (18+5) I've had a few good kicks that have made me jump when I'm settling in bed lol and this baby is really pushing against my stomach.

I think you will know when you can feel him/her. How far are you?

Thank you. Xx

Mexico I was 14 weeks with my first but around 18 before I felt feint movement this time I imagined a scone one I'd feel earlier. So surprised it was later

I'm 18 4. I am in the normal range not over weight was around 10 stone when we conceived and I'm 5'7 but sonographer did say when I went for my first scan that good job I drank a lot as I have a tilted cervix. She said it doesn't cause any problems just harder to find baby!! See from what you say I'm not in tune with my baby at all!! Haha!! I guess just wait and see! My scan is on the 2 August!! Xx

Well it's definitely not weight related Hun.

I would guess that's probably why. But it's normal anyway until around 20 weeks. After that I would speak to your midwife if you still haven't felt baby kick. They will just put your mind at rest :) and I think they do regular checks if you can't feel baby.

Not too long to wait now :)

Mines in an hour :) yay! Xx

I started feeling my 1st at 17 weeks and the MW said that is fairly early for a 1st baby. My second was 15 weeks and this one was about 14 weeks. It took me almost a week each time to be 100% sure I was feeling baby though. The movements are very slight to start with and each baby has felt a bit different.

20 week scan went well :)

I've paid for 2 gender scans and had my 20 week scan and still can't be 100% sure baby is a girl as her legs were crossed again! But I'm
90% sure of the last scan lol I really wanted it confirmed today though.
Oh well scan again in 6 weeks.

Baby is measuring fine and is perfectly healthy thank god :)
