***December 2016 mums***

Awwwww sib she's a gorgeous little girly a love the 3D scans I'm convincing my Hubby to let me book one. Where is your due date Sib? I'm really excited for this Christmas the best thing to come out of 2016 will be this little boy after losing my uncle tragically it's like this little man is a blessing to our family. :) yeah am deffo sure its the baby moving as I've felt him do the same again today, it's making me worry that he's so low with having previous sections am scared of the scar been effected (my anxiety once again). So excited for the 20 week scan on Tuesday I'm hoping I get a nice person doing scan as the other at 12 week scan wasn't too nice. X

Thank you :) it's the 17/12. 21 weeks tomorrow.

They're defo worth the money Hun. You see loads more. I got to see baby smiling, yawning and drinking yesterday :) I had to go in twice because baby was being awkward so I was being scanned for at least 45 minutes.
I'm not sure where you ladies are from but if any of you are close to Wigan then I recommended 'show your bump'. They were amazing with me yesterday and for 2d, 3D, 4d and HD live its only £40. She showed me baby in all of those views and took pics in all. The HD live scans are £65 round here usually, which is a lot cheaper than down south anyway lol

I'm sorry for your loss Hun but glad you have had some amazing news in 2016.
My nan passed away a few years back on the 21st. My dad gets very upset around Xmas so I'm hoping baby will bring some of his Xmas spirit back.

I'm glad your feeling baby now :) don't worry about the low kicks. Baby is still small at this stage and they move around loads. So baby might just be moving himself and kicking you lower down.

Hopefully it will be a different person this time. But if not and your not happy then request someone else. Xx

Lovely pics slb!

I feel a few movements a bit further up around the sides but most of the movements I get are just above my bikini line. I had a MW appointment yesterday and I am measuring right for 24 weeks so its not like baby doesn't have room in there! I think it must just be easier to feel haby in the lower down area. Maybe because higger up the tummy has more padding (well mine does anyway).

Yeah your probli right bunny, my upper tummy as a lot more padding so probli harder to feel the babies movements. Ano from previous scans he moves about a hell of a lot so isn't restricted in any kind of way. I read that at 20/21 weeks baby is the size of a small banana it's unreal that baby is that Little to say how much of a bump I've recently got. X

We are having a little girl :) although the prospect of pink is stressing me out a bit!! Determined to avoid it as much as possible lol

Thinking about signing up for an NCT class, anyone have any experience of them and if they are worth the cost?

That's a god price for the 4d scans SIb the ones I've seen are about 100+ depending on the packages. I'm from
Sheffield . Bet that was so cute seeing baby do all of that, I just still can't believe when's. See scans that a little baby is inside growing such an amazing thing. Did you get a. DVD with the scan? Awwww a hope it does bring yo dad comfort a little bundle of joy around Christmas time. I'm Due on 21st Dec, 21 weeks on Wednesday but elective c section is booked in for 13th December. I'm wondering forgot to ask previously but what happens if natural labour starts before the actually scheduled section date? I'm wondering if I'd still be forced in a section with my having 3 previously. Obviously a wouldn't want to put baby at risk. X

I've got my 4d scan booked for 26 weeks and it's £65. Didn't think that was too bad!! Does anyone know when they are going to be finishing work! People keep asking me and I haven't even thought about it . I have kept a lot of my holiday back 19 days ! Haven't had any holiday since January!!

Beautiful pictures sib xx

My 4d scan was £250 4 years ago, I think the cheapest you can get one in Belfast for is about £120 now

Wow that's expensive mummy, I 100% want one, just something really nice to look forward to :) how many weeks isit you can have them from isit 25? I've got my 20week scan on Tuesday and nervous about it, hospital scans always scare me for some reason. I'm so broody seeing all my friends babies been born, but can't grasp the realisation of my little man been here in 18weeks it's gone fast yet slow if that makes any kind of sense at all lol.

Everything seems a bit more expensive over here when it comes to scans etc

Hey ladies Had my 20week scan and was amazing saw my little boy yawn his little lips and hand/feet everything. The woman who scan me was fab as well explaining what everything was etc. Will try and upload a pic as soon as a can work how to again. The only thing bars concerned me is that he's 96th percentile for his weight, looks like am gonna have a really big baby lol. Oh and a can't feel that many movements as my placenta is anterior sat right at the front of little man. Xx

Icklemoi they said that about my son too told me he could be close to 11lbs!!! He was only 7lb 12oz lol

Wow that's a big difference 7lb 12 and them thinking 11lb, was he early or ontime? My babies have always been fairly big my smallest and first was 8lb 2 and my heaviest 9lb5, it's scary but I keep thinking at least a won't have to push a big baby out lol. Can't believe how much he's grown in a couple of weeks it's crazy. Such a cute little scan wish nhs had the facilities to record the scans and us by a DVD of it. That's my last scan now till he's born, 18weeks today till he's here that if e don't decide to appear any earlier. Gonna deffo convince Other half to go for a 4d scan :)

Hi ladies sorry haven't posted much recently. I do however try and read this thread everyday.
I'm glad everyone is doing well.

I'm not sure if I posted before but I'm having a gtt in about 5 weeks. They picked up that baby had a large tummy in 20 week scan. So I could be having a bigg'n as well Ikkle! My mum had big babies and my son was 8Ib 7oz, 9 days overdue, they say they get bigger the more you have. If my weights anything to go by in bigger too, lol!

Baby is breech at the mo, are many of yours breech too? I get a lot of kicks in what feels like my Minnie!! If baby gets lazy or quiet my anxiousness starts increasing.

I'm officially starting maternity 1 week before my due date and I have 2 & 1/2 weeks holiday to add on before that! So 3.5 weeks before due date. Can't wait! They keep telling me to be careful as if I come early I may loose some of my holiday!!

Jingle I didn't do NCT (not my cup of tea) but I did lazy birthing which is about active birthing and I loved it. Think it was a 6 week course about £60/£70 they also do couples courses etc. I'm def doing it again for this one. There's instructors all over the country.

Slb your pictures are great!! Look so cute.

Can't believe I'll be 23 weeks tomorrow, time is dragging!!

Xxx

Hey Tonks glad to see you posting, mine have been 8lb2 (2weeks late) 8lb 3 ( 4days late) 9lb5 (went into labour on due date and he was born next day, then my youngest 8lb 5 (5days early). I've got to have a GTT as my dad as diabetes but woman at scan didn't mention he was massive or anything just when given the growth charts and the plotting on them he's 96th percentile for weight so far according to the abdominal measurement. Ahhhh have u got to have more scans with little on been breech? My baby is right position just anterior placenta why a don't feel kicks movements she says but that's gonna be a constant worry for me if its gonna be same all the time. The time is dragging I agree TOnks I'm 21weeks tomorrow but baby is gonna be 8days early due to my c section. I'm glad I'm a way I have a bit bigger than average babies with needing a section. I wish a was motivated into courses but kinda don't see point when a don't have a birthing option was just told what's happening and that's that. X

No Ryan was 3 days early son not enough to be 3lbs lighter lol
Tonks mine is breach too and yes f el like I'm kicked down below sometimes I feel like baby is go a fall out lol
My maternity will start two weeks before baby is due but I have 5 weeks of off duty to use up so although baby is due 6th December I'm going off on 13th October
I did the hospital classes thought they were a bit of a waste of time really I learned more on this forum than I did at the classes haha

I'll have a look at the active birthing classes, was more looking at NCT for the social aspect. We haven't lived here for long and don't know anyone locally so it was more for that. Signed up for the NHS classes as well so have a few weeks to decide. I'm pretty shy so I want to give myself the best opportunity to try and get to know people as my husband works long hours and I don't plan on returning to work after maternity.

Feels safe now to start buying things, but the lack of anything for baby girls that's not baby pink is terrible!! I hate the colour. Want to avoid the whole princess pink thing as it's just not us!!

Jingle I have seen lovely lemon things for little Baby girls, in morrisons there clothing range. Got some really cute little bits in there :) . Ano it migh sound mad but I've bough everything now apart from cot. Can't believe how organised I am for lotto man. :) x

23 weeks and thought I'd have stopped being sick by now but nope I'm thinking this will be a all of my pregnancy thing, has anyone actually gained any weight yet???

I've gained a little on my tummy, it seems that it depends what clothes I wear as well to weva a notice the gain or not. Have you put any on yet mummy? Ano it's a daft question but when they say monitor babies movements from X amount of weeks, well if you've an anterior placenta which is harder to feel movements how does that work? X
