Blood pressure was concerning at 170/108 and 200 of protein found in urine. Labetalol been administered and BP has come down to 140/90, so rather than go for an urgent section tonight, they have given me a sweep (1-2cm dilated but thick) and will ARM tomorrow (assuming BP remains under control). Considering I had only 16 protein yesterday, they are concerned about how quickly things have progressed. Going to attempt a VBAC, with a section contingency plan in place. Either way, looking like my December baby will be another November baby.

hi all
been a while since i posted but have been reading up on everything!

hope your ok Mrs TLC

my last checkup was measuring 28cm at 34 weeks ( funny because 2 weeks prior midwife had said measuring 32) so got another growth scan next week and consultant review after- really hope everything is ok I just really want to go into labour naturally and was hoping to have a water birth
finally finished work well just got one afternoon next week

cant believe its the final month!! where has the time gone!
not ready at all!

still need to buy all major baby stuff but now i'm off hope i can focus on it a bit more. problem is we are renovating bathroom so all spare time has been spent on that

Someone else who could have a birthday baby! I am expecting little bundle to make an appearance on my birthday (21st) or Christmas day or if overdue New Year!

Ha yeah I would love a Birthday baby as I share my Birthday with my mum so would be 3 generations all on the same day!

I hope you get your pram and car seat sorted, Mothercare are usually pretty good but typically not when you need them to be! Get on the social media and they will sort it out sharpish I bet!

Melissa - Makes sense to want the section instead of all the stress, Christmas is stressful enough!

Putting my Christmas tree up this weekend, I cannot wait to be feeling all Christmassy knowing that little one could be here in time!

That would be so nice to have 3 generations on same day - especially if its a girl! Got a car seat in end - ,display one from shop floor who mothercare tried to tell had never left the stock room! Not happy but at 37 weeks options were becoming limited! I've put it on FB & now need to respond to their message with full details x

Gosh, sounds stressful. Good luck though - it will all be worth it when babies in your arms x

Welcome to December ladies! Hopefully it will be our month! Prob too much info but gotta share the blood sweat & tears that went into shaving my legs & lady bits this morning. I haven't attempted this for over a month now my legs are covered in nicks & cuts, plus I already seem to be developing a rash! Hope everyone else's day has started better!
