So now the house is all
Sorted I decided to get myself sorted. I've shaved down below and thank god because it was more like an untame forest than a lady garden! Had my legs waxed and got a pedicure - there will be lots of people down that way I want to look nice! Plus I've had my hair cut. I think I'm all ready!
I have a few baby things to wash and that's it she is welcome to pop out at anytime!
What's everyone else done?

im all shaved and ready too hun. was such a nice feeling to be hair free. even though the OH did cut once or twice lol

HOW on earth did you manage to reach? I tried trimming the other day and was doin it completely blind so stopped! God knows what it looks like down there now! Lol. OH said he'd sort it for me but I don't really wanna put him through that if I don't have to bless him! If there's a special way, I'd love to know! X

Ive told my OH it was him who got me in this condition therefore he will get down there and trim just before I'm due! I'm giving birth at the hospital I work at, so I know people I work with may see my lady bits and I'll be mortified if they are nothing but perfect, lol!

I feel like a bushwacka at the moment! I cant remember the last time I let it go this wild!

I will also be getting my hair cut, coloured (hair on my head!) and my nails done!

This is hilarious :D

Hi, just popped over from tri 2 if you dont mind.

I love this thread, I have mentioned doing all these things to a couple of friends & close colleagues of mine and they all laughed at me lol. They find it hilarious that I want to go into Labour looking good. But I find it strange that anybody would want to go in any other way?

I've been thinking about my lady garden and what I will do with it when the day draws near. My OH has kindly offered to shave me. but I just don't know if I could do that too him, I mean it will be a jungle down there from the moment I cant reach anymore. How do you know when to shave? What if the baby comes early or late?

Im trying to keep on top of my legs and armpits every couple of days now just incase!Lady garden hasnt got a chance, hubby has to do it. I tried to trim it myself with a mirror but it looked like id had a run in with sweeney todd so will leave it to him from now on lol.
House is going to get attacked again today. Going to clean the garden, clean out the rabbit and the tortoise and then am all sorted again xxx

I'm not in tri 3 until next week but im gate crashing :)

I was hoping to use hair removal cream down there nearer the time because atm i am just shaving blind lol. Surely you can just slap a load of cream all over and take it all off? lol x

think am gnna book a brazalian this week ready for labour

haha! I'm still in tri2, but was thinking about this only the other day :)

Good to know I'm not the only one thinking about stuff like this!

Well I sat on the toilet with the mirror on the side of the bath and a towel under me' and off I went. It's less than perfect but a lot better (the razor got blunt - it was all the branches it had to hack down ha ha) so I'll go back and finish it off in-between naps and visitors one day. But at least I know the mws will be able to see what's going on down there. It wasn't easy but well worth it!

I have been using a mirror every few days for the last few weeks and got quite good at it now :) using a shaver for shaping the landing strip then a trimmer for the rest which you don't need to be too careful with.... Just go over the lot.

LOL, I did mine last night, It took an hour! pmsl!
Needless to say i ached all over by the time i had finished...plus DH thought i had fallen asleep i was in there so long!
Managed with a large hand mirror in front of my long bathroom mirror!

Some creams are ok to use, others aren't.

The only one i ever found any good was boots own brand for extra sensitive skin.
Always worked for me even near the really sensitive parts (i cant use wax down there as i react)
The only thing is sometimes its hard to "scrape" all the hair off with the spatula so needs to be well rinsed, i just found it too blooming hard trying to see if it had all come away, so opted to shave instead now that i can't see lol.

Make sure you do a patch test- some of the creams i reacted with gave me more of a reaction at the front (just where you'd have a landing strip) and was fine elsewhere.

Any slight tingling/burning/itching or heat then rinse of right away :)

I never found any of the hair removal creams any good to be honest!I dont know whether its just cos ive got really wirey hair or what lol xxx

Ahhh I remember this well lol I was well groomed right up, but when I was in slow labour for a week my beauty ritual went out the window! I jumped in the bath and practically ran to the hospital when it was time  I wasn't bad but I prefer it all off down there  once you get on the G+A you forget you even have a foof nevermind if its looking ok! xx
