im being really stupid, but are eggs considered dairy?

also, i have been told by the hospital not to eat/drink any dairy products, and avoid fatty foods, but do you recon i would be ok with soya milk?

can i make ready brek with soya milk  i miss my ready brek in the morning :(

i think eggs are considered dairy produce

YEY!!!

trip to tescos tomorrow.

do they make soya ice cream? :rotfl:

why have you been advised against dairy produce?

i got gall stones  been in hospital 3 times over the last few weeks cause of the pain.

im assuming it is the fat content?

cheers ladies.

im living off boiled rice and plain chicken at the mo, cause i don't want to eat anything that will make my gall bladder hurt again. & the only reason im eating that is cause i need to have food with my pills.

dam stones are only the size of seseme seeds :wall:

  and theyre really painful?? o no, i dont like the sound of them!!!

Eggs are a source of protein not dairy. You should be fine with soya milk.
Poor you...hope you get better soon.

i was screaming sat night. OH called 999. for me it is worse than labour! at least that comes in waves.

the worse part is it hurts to breath, so i can't even control the pain with that.

they think i have infected gall bladder tubes, and by eating the slighest bit of fat it opens the ducts, and the stones try and pass through. the ducts then close around the stones, and cause the pain.

still, 19 pills a day and no fat in my diet and i am able to function. its just very tender under my ribs on my right side.

sorry, feeling sorry for myself now :)
