So the clinic have called and we are set for EC on Monday at 11.05am eeeek!!

We have our instructions. Lower my dose of Gonal F to 200iu for tonight then none at all tomorrow. Saturday to take my spray as normal, so am & pm then trigger shot at 10.05pm. Sunday nothing at all and nothing to eat or drink from that evening. Take my Voltarol suppository before we leave for the clinic :oooo:

Full of mixed emotions at the minute x

Hey that's fantastic, got anything nice planned for the weekend? Will be thinking about you on Monday. x

Thanks hon. How are the injections going? Hopefully you won't be too far behind me. Well we're out in London tomorrow night for hubby and brother in laws birthdays (twins) Then lunch at my parents Sunday afternoon. Probably try and get an early night Sunday as it's going to be a long drive on Monday morning. We have to get from Essex to Oxford x

Lovely that will fly! So far so good with the injections, just about to have my third. Haven't had any side effects so hoping that's a good sign. X

Glad the injections are going well. I didn't get any either until the other day and the nurse said that's because the follicles are getting bigger and so taking more fluid away from you and that's why you need to up your fluid intake. I have been a bit rubbish the last few days and so that's obviously why I got the bloating and headaches. So make sure you keep drinking and you'll be fine! X

Thanks for the tip. I've been told 3 litres a day, just about managing it, I'm on my last 0.5L of water for today. Having a couple of milky decaf coffees or white hot chocs to up the protein intake too. I've had about 60g of protein today, they've not said how much I should have, just that I should increase it! x

I know it's a struggle isn't it. I'm on 2.5L now and don't think can do anymore. Yeah I've just been told to increase it too and not by how much. I don't really know how much I've been having by weight but having a decaf chai latte (mainly milk and just topped up with water) in the morning, chicken most nights for dinner, quite a few Brazil nuts everyday, a yoghurt after dinner. And I eat a lot of baked beans as I love them! X

Thanks girls! All went well. They collected 9 eggs and we then had 5 after fertilisation. When they were ready for us they took us to our own recovery room and explained what would happen, I then had to get into a gown where we had about 20minutes until they came to get me and I had to empty my bladder in that time. There was a stereo system in own room so we put my iPod on and listened to summer or sax which just chills us out! Hubby told me to sit still as I was making him nervous! Haha. I walked into theatre and had to lay on a couch with big padded feet things. The nurse said I would still be able to hear voices but would be totally relaxed. The anaesthetist put the canula in and my head felt a bit whooshy, then I was out! I didn't notice the surgeon come in or feel a thing!! When I cam round I was totally with it and after a few minutes was wheeled back to our room. Hubby had just got back from doing his bit. The procedure only took about 20 minutes. After about an hour and a half we were on our way home.

Ooh you're only a week behind me KeepItCrossed!! Will be checking in on how you're doing! How are you feeling?

Xx

That doesn't sound too bad. They told me that I'd be there for about an hour after. Apparently I can go after I've eaten a round of toast, a drunk cup of tea and had a wee. I've got another scan on Fri. I guess at the moment I feel nervous excitement! x

It will be here before you know it! Yes I felt the same. Was actually quite relaxed for collection though x
