cycle question please asap

hi all

i am logging on quickly at my friends' because i have a question for you...and i will be going home very fast to bed

i think my cycle is starting again because i am suffering from mild contractions, my tummy is all upside down and i am getting a headache and muscleache. my stomach has been funny for a couple of weeks now.

i know some of you had rough periods 1st time after the birth. is this it? or is it something to worry about?

thing is in france, getting an appointment with a gynecologists (?) takes flamin YEARS so if i can avoid it i will.

please someone reassure me and tell me it won't last: i'm in such pain!

Hi Pips sorry i cant help too much but just wanted to say that i hope your ok,
my first period after having jamie was awful, very heavy and very painful so maybe its because of that? i wouldnt like to say its just that though it case its something else?! so sorry i havent been much help, try taking some parcetmol with a nice warm bath or a hot water bottle and if its still agony for you then i would suggest going along to see your doctor just to be on the safe side

Mine weren't as bad as you're describing Pips, you sound in real pain

Definately try painkillers, hot water bottle and a warm bath. Can't add anymore to what Steph suggested just hope it eases for you soon hon

I know this post is probably way too late but will do it anyway!!

With my first & second periods I didn't actually get cramps, it just hurt like hell when I went to the loo & felt like my inside were being ripped out with a knife I got headaches with them too.

thanks for answering. i am getting a medical appointment soon as it's not stopping and i'm getting worried. on a brighter note i have lost all the extra kilos and more haha

and hopefully i'll beable to come and tell you what was wrong soon as i may be getting the net at home! yippee!!!!!
